80 hours in and I'm only a few quests into Skellige. Most expansive game I've played in ages!

First play through was 130 for me. That is with both expansions.

I'm buying 11 and I haven't finished most of my games

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have the witcher 2 and I struggled to play more than an hour of it. Don't understand the hype for the witcher at all.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did, best week I ever had

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Had a week off and finally finished the main story and hearts of stone (so gopd!) Now inching my way through blood and wine.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've owned it since its release and I still have like 400 games to finish before I start playing it. And then like 2000 more after Witcher 3

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously I spent weeks on that game before I ever touched Skellige. Had fun the whole way through. Definitely one of my favorites.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Currently playing it again for the death march achievement and all I've managed to do in months is play Gwent.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Think I'm on my 7th playthrough

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got 500 hours and I spent 475 of then at Crippled Kate's.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Iam a simple man. When i se witcher 3 posts i press like

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's actually a pretty funny pouty gif. "Awww"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm probably going to buy it this sale, that said I couldn't get into skyrim but did love Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Wise purchase?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just started the DLC, fantastic game, the amount of content in this is unreal.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Alright, I'm going to Skellige today" -Me everyday for the past two weeks

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just got Witcher 3 IN the Steam Sale, and I'm already lost. Gonna have to load a saved game and find some drowners to grind, need to lvl.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

You can turn on level scaling in the options.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do come witcher contracts man, level in no time

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

come contracts are the best!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I bought it 3 years ago and haven't played it yet, doesn't help that my only computer that could run it died, isn't my priority now

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

it came out 2 years ago...May 2015

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn well my sense of time is off, bought it during the summer steam sale for dirt cheap, haven't played it. Maybe it was then

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They say an average playthrough is 120 hours.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honest question, I just got it in the steam sale. I never played the second one, can I jump straigt in or should I play it first?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I picked up witcher 3 on ps4. I have played about 6 hours and can tell this game is going to kick my ass.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The expansions are that time alone mate :P

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

600ish hours, I'm in Touissaint, all main quests done and am wrapping up the last of the side quests and POI's. God help me.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't believe it's still going for, what, like $23-25 bucks?

8 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 4

After a partial refund from Newegg and selling the disks, I got it for $8 profit

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I bought it for around $15 on humblebundle w/ DLC

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Just bought it this steam sale. Already a dozen hours in, it's so good!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And that's with the goty edition man it's so good

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

... i have 30 bucks in the bank but sure let's see what steam's up to ಠ_ಠ

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd love if CDPR made a Witcher game set before the books when Witchers were more common and we play as our own character.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

That would be nice. Its also the only way I see them making any other games if they decide to do so. like 200yrs in the past. Would be good

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, witchers are usually men. An online game where you have no gender choice surely wont happen.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Never said it had to be online

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just want a young Vesimir game!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That could lead into an online Witcher game, which I doubt would end up going well. It'd just lose the magic (ha) and fun of a great solo

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Game to play. Too many game rely on online to sell to people

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I wanted to like this game so much. I could not get into it

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

there's dozens of us!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me neither, though I have been plagued with bugs that ruined it for me. Never buying another game on release day as a result...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I could not do the weird combat special movement stupidity. I can't believe no one made a mod to to make the combat like every other game.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

That wasn't the problem. I'm fine with them mixing it up. I mean, every other game, is an Arkham clone, now. Fuck that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I loved it, but there was just too much of it for me to play it, if that makes sense.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I've spent a hundred hours just downloading it and deleting it because I'm afraid to play it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It's a big time investment but it's worth it trust me

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Had a friend sort of ruin it by telling me if I don't want to spend 1000 hours on it I shouldn't bother. I'm capable, but didn't need that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's easily in my top 5 games ever. The story is great, the gameplay is great, the characterization is good, although admittedly (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

it references a lot of things that happened in previous games or the books, which aren't vital but do add to the world-building and (2/3)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

change how you perceive some of the characters. And when you have to make a choice, it actually has consequences down the line! (3/4)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not just, "Well, now this person is going to be kinda grumpy!"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Recently got it and about 45 hours in, deciding if I should go to skellige before I massively out-level all the story quests

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

You can... out level... quests... in 2017???

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

FFXV you could

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You will regardless. Just embrace being a main character.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The classic problem of out-leveling the story vs finishing the story and losing the desire to level.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Currently playing dragon age inquisition. I like how it has an option to make every enemy at least your level. 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Witcher has that as well. Enemy scaling.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Loved the main quest in dragon age, still have all the dlc to go through but I just cannot get back into it whatever I do

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Same. Almost finished the story but can't get back into it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because i usually end up out-leveling the story as well when completing everything in one place before moving to the next one 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah I hate when the game doesn't level up with you. I'm huge on completion but then I'm lvl 60 going against lvl 30s by the end

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And is just not hard to beat what's supposed to be the strongest guy in the game you know final boss.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Death March, with level scaling my man, welcome to the grind

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Those wolves cause real problems... or the pockets of bandits

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was thinking about doing it on a harder difficulty, I'm on normal and it's really easy with the alternate quen sign

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of you're looking to make the side quests and hunts really worth it and integral to the progression of your story, than that's the way to go

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If*

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ciri.

8 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 1

Loved playing her as a lesbian and offending the skelligers sensibilities

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The whole "see her as a daughter" thing geralt has drew onto me

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Than bathhouse scene, I was trying to leave without her clothes...

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

If you are playing on PC... there are mods for that ;) The Witcher 3 Nexus is your friend.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That old woman though....

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Beat part of the game

I'm talking about that old woman in the bathhouse.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't forget the Crones:

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She's a sexy milf

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

You are a child.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

And you're kind of a judgemental, holier than thou waste of human life. But fuck me for enjoying something right? Tedious little maggot.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Pffff, those are rookie numbers man. You gotta spend at least 150 hrs before you even visit skellige

8 years ago | Likes 274 Dislikes 5

Can confirm, never made it to skellige

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have about 350 hours... Might sink another 100+ on a newgame+

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Does the chat lag put for anyone else I have to wait 3-4 second every chat prompt I choose it becomes monotonous....

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

167 hours here.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

bitch please im 357 hours on my second playthrough (ng+ on deathmarch)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did 150 hours before I got to white orchard

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

put 700 hours into Witcher 3, gonna do another playthrough when the 4K update for the One X comes out

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try doing a playthrough of the whole trilogy. You can import your save from one game to the next.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I bought all 3 not long ago for PC after playing number 3 on ps4 - didn't know you could do this!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

On my second playthrough, I only advanced the story enough to get to skellige so I could pick up more gear plans.

You have the DLC's right? If you don't. Go get them. So good ;_; So much to do

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha. I was feeling too lazy to look it up

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Death Marched the shit out of it.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

one of the few 100% im proud of http://imgur.com/Ri0mb98

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

what about dlc?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Witcher 3 is going to be the only game I 100 percent. But it will be worth it!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Weirdly enough the hardest trophies are the 50 headshots and collecting all the Gwent cards.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Am I the only one that loves doing story quests over side quests? After I beat the game all the side quests were pointless cuz my level :(

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

u know there is ng+ right?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but I didnt want to start over

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ng+?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

new game +

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I need to see ALL the content. I dont know if those quest will go away if I go too far in the story (some do). I gotta do side quests first

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Idk what it is about my nature but I always want to progress as quickly as possible. If the main quest offers the best rewards it what I do

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

my roommate got mad at me because I was doing too many sidequests in FFXV and was level 42 by chapter 3 and he beat the game at level 52

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lmaooo. Theres two types of ppl i guess

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol I have 130 hrs and I just got to the bloody baron.

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

I am propably 140 hours in and i am not even halfway through the first witcher...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I do not believe you. You get to him so early...

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Just? Jeebus

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He's probably way over leveled by now

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah that's the problem with the Witcher. If you spend all your time dicking around by the time you get to the good parts of the game 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's all a breeze. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

200 hrs and I just got around to killing those first ghouls. Get in my level.

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

400 hours and I haven't left the main menu come at me scrubs.

8 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

You casuals, I have 600 hours replaying the beginning monologue.

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pathetic I've spent 800 hours inserting the disk
