I’ve been saving to go from my 10 year old PS4 to a 5Pro since GTA6 was the only game I thought to be worth upgrading, and welcomed the delays as then I can also save and upgrade my 2015 3D HD tv to an OLED. But my estimated cost of all equipment and accessories has already gone up 30% since that game was actually announced

Games are much cheaper on PC, you save a lot more money in the long run, and no multiplayer subscription either.

I've pretty much always used a PC.. but the costs to build a great one to keep up with new games' system requirements is getting pricier and pricier. Especially with all this AI bullshit using up all the good tech. So unless you're playing a TON of games, it's cheaper to use a gaming console IMO

PC's are also useful for more than dedicated gaming. While mine was built to play games it can also serve media for my household, support a bunch of my technical hobbies, and works as a proxy for remote work.
