Even looks like my trunk.

Please give it to the thrift shop for your local animal shelter if there is one. Ours is doing great & makes $$ for the animals.

Goodwill takes dismembered bodies?

I've had a possessed doll in my trunk for a while now.
vapeinmypussyandcallmeyourmemeslut
There are dozens of us! Dozens!
michurrr
Currently have two bags in there from who knows when..
Minivanv
Thanks for the reminder.
thechelonianshelmet
A few deep red smears and furtive looks when opening/closing trunk and you'll be amazed at some of the new friends you'll have :)
britnit
Oh this is so true!
Spongybunny
My trunk is literally full of goodwill stuff right now and has been for 3 weeks. I'm not alone.
Favri
Shit almost forgot that stuff is still in the car!!!
FullSpeedAhead
Solution: I now have 3 different charities that send postcards for front door pickups. Just have to remember to put the stuff out.
arrowmacx
Every day I pop my trunk, move the goodwill trash bags to the side, grab my tools and lunch box, then go off to work... I'm not alone...
lifesucksthenyoudieeee
Every damn time!
eaglesquared
Get a receipt. Write that stuff off on your taxes.
InsolventTacos
Only if you itemize. Not a reason not to donate, though.
Jgoodie75
This is like a PSA for me. I forgot I had goodwill bags in my trunk!
Misora
My goodwill has a drive through. They roll the cart out to your car and you're out in <5 min if you don't need a receipt.
RodanMurkharr
Plot twist: the bags are full of stolen panties.
SecretButter
I've done community service for them. What a lot of people don't realize is they'll only use things that they can actually resell. A lot of
the stuff that gets brought in they have to throw away because people clean their houses out and just dump everything into a bag and donate.
kirstyjunior
My car got broken into because I had a box of stuff in it to take to goodwill. I now keep my goodwill box in my trunk too
donnavan
Don't give to the goodwill, give to a local thrift store or a salvation army.
"Goodwill" is like the word "Kleenex" to me. I give to William Temple House, a local place. :)
Jmereel
I wonder how many mobsters forget about, ya know, that thing, in the trunk.
Gayforbae
Dead skunk in the trunk
myr14d
Well, unless said mobster doesn't have a sense of smell, (or like... lives in a permanently cold place) there's a built in reminder.

There should be a twelve step group for us...
istealthepixelsfromreposts
I'll sign up! I'll never come to a meeting but still.
BeardsArePeopleToo
Or a 2 month group. Lol
Batonrougeisnotsobad
3 months. One in the pile, one in the bags, one in the trunk.
I don’t know, y’all. I mean, if we’re ALL using that method, it can’t be completely wrong lol!
AmyBethMegJo
I like the way you think!
Weeeell, hate to brag, but justifications for behavior that could be considered ridiculous or inappropriate are my specialty lol
Lol!
JudgementalChair
You got your bags all the way to the trunk?!
Captaintippie
I had a bin of clothes sitting in front of my garage for 2 weeks waiting to put into the car for GW. They finally made it there.....
harliequinny
Right? Mine are bagged in the closet...
iamgavinmatix
I recently cleaned out my trunk. threw a bunch of shit out. put the bags back in.
theycallmeMrGlass
Mine didn’t make it to bags, just a pile next to my dresser.
EagledDolphins
This currently where I'm at. I'm hoping for more progress by next year
MarvelousJessycaJones
Yeah for real, mine are still by my front door 4 months later.
doyourhappydance
Mine sat beside the couch after moving in June. Now they are in the basement. It's better that way
electriclarryland96
Don't donate to Goodwill. They are nor a charity. They are a private corporation whose CEO makes more money than any other charitable boss.
sykoticflaw
Yep. They pay virtually nothing on their goods, allowing them a damn near 100% profit margin on jacked up prices. They're fucking terrible.
cobaltandchrome
Agree! I donate to a local charity thrift store.
Corridoor
They let me do community service at my local goodwill for a traffic ticket I couldn't afford 7 years ago. Kept wanting to hire me, fuck no.
johnnydarkside
Yup. Either local, or salvation army. Once clothes have gone the rounds through our kids, they go straight to local charity if in good shape
eanfledtheelf
I agree with this...but they also invest tons in workforce training and education in my community, so I am conflicted.
I cannot up vote this enough. Exploitative labor practices as well. Their "job training programs" are unpaid internships for retailpositions
ThousandsOfDeadlySeaSnakes
I'm so glad I'm not alone.

I seriously thought I was the only lazy mofo that did this... I guess it makes it less weird if there's others!

Well, both of you are a step ahead of me. I put the bags in the basement and forget all about them for a year or two.
I definitely would if I had a basement/any storage room at all.

I have to confess: I’ve had furniture in my car for three weeks I’m planning to donate.
I have to confess: a drunk driver totalled my car and I left all the donation stuff in it.

There is a bin at my work for a coat drive and I keep saying tomorrow I'll bring them in. The coats have been in my trunk for a year...
Oh man you gotta get on that. I mean, you have to go to work anyway.

I have an old american flag in my trunk. The next time I pass a VFW I will give it to them to dispose of properly. It’s been 10 years!
SarcasticComment
You can also give it to the Boy Scouts. They also retire flags.
Cypheri
I'm American and I still don't get this absurd obsession with the flag. It's a piece of cloth. It's just a piece of printed cloth.
I'm of the opinion that you can burn it respectfully in your own backyard.
According to the flag code, burning is the preferred method of disposal. Looked it up to be sure I remembered correctly.
It is.
Clone501st
The American Flag isn't just fabric with colors on it. It symbolizes our freedom. It represents the sacrifice our servicemen make to keep
this country from falling apart, be they Firefighters, Police, Doctors, Military, the Mail Man, so on and so fourth. It represents our
freedom of speech. So we can have an opinion of our president. So we can choose to take care of and show respect to our flag. So we can
kneel during the national anthem. So we can step on and burn the flag in the streets. It represents so much but I'm gonna leave it there
Chill with your righteous indignation. If people are so serious about the flag, they shouldn't wear it on clothes or print it on napkins.
I'm not trying to be righteous. I'm just explaining what it stands for. And as far as not using the flag as clothing, napkins, etc. it means
not using a actual flag. Not the design itself if I remember correctly
