Pizza cake sounds better

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

without white sauce and polognese... and with pepperoni. So basically only thing they have common is layers and cheese.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Which is awesome in its own right as well. In garlic bread would be awesomer

You'll get much better results if you shred your own low-moisture mozzarella. Pre-shredded has potato and corn starch to prevent clumping.

7 years ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 2

where do you gt your shredded mozzarella? the stuff I buy has no potato in it because shredded cheese does't clump. It's not granulated.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And for harder cheese I bought a $30 food processor with grater attachment. Good results.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TIL.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So thats what that was

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Make America grate again!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah preshredded is just paying more money for lower quality cheese. Get a decent grater... not that you even need a grater for real mozz.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I just stuff mozzarella sticks into a rotary grater.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And wood fibre. Seriously, look it up.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

i need to do this, thx

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

oh thanks for the heads up

7 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

And that's why I always shred all of my cheeses. So much better

7 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Cheaper too

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

and you can eat it while you shred.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I’d rather eat four perfectly cooked pizzas than one giant mound of soggy pizza ingredients.

7 years ago | Likes 205 Dislikes 7

In fact baking the middle pieces first for about 8 min at 400' f . is the way to go. Im literally lookimg at a fresh one coolimg

What if we stack them after they're cooked..?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't imagine the heat penetrates it evenly enough to produce a satisfying result. That's a lot of thermal mass

7 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

that's what she said

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Someone pointed out to me that they skipped the part where you’re supposed to actually pre-bake the interior crust pieces before assembly.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

For real. You just know those middle pieces of dough are gonna be as soft and chewy as the cheese.

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

That sounds like my perfect pizza to me, but it definitely doesn't have a wide appeal.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

since there are no instructions they skipped the part where you cook the middle pieces before placing them in the layers

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

That does change things slightly. I’d still rather have an old fashioned Chicago deep dish though.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't see this comment, but you can just barely make out that the dough rounds are browned on the bottom.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

yeah if you look at them in pic #5 you can see that they are slightly brown and the one she is holding is stiff while putting it in the mold

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can confirm. I've made this before, and it was real bad.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Horrifyingly bad, one of the worst things I ever made. Burnt and raw.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you made it, and it was burnt and raw. The problem lies with you.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also yes

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This thing is an abomination. Thin crust is the only real pizza.

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Fuck you

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Ah...we got ourselves a little Caesars customer.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I just hate thin crust and that it's the exact same price as normal (thick) crust pizza.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey, I like Little Caesars. Not the best, but pretty good. :)

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used to know a girl who would order thin crust, no sauce, no toppings, extra cheese and still have the balls to call that a pizza.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s cheese bread. Although, pizza is less about quantity of toppings and more about quality of ingredients.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Except my famous chili dog pizza. Those are shitty ingredients but they make for a delicious and brutally unhealthy treat.
