Yeah this. Dynamic stretching is more beneficial than static stretching. Do lunges, hip gates, squats and high steps. Good to go.

I feel like it Depends on the sport. Some sports or positions benefit more from a pure static stretch than dynamic stretch.

For preventing injury: warm downs have good evidence, warm ups have some evidence, stretching has no or conflicting evidence.

If you are on your legs all day, an electrolyte pill or a banana might not be a bad idea. Also, stretching and a hot bath work wonders.
