What's disappointing is that the funds used to buy the prop merch for this funny video went to Donny.

I love how most people who own a Kia Soul don't have a soul of their own.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In fairness, if you're paying $7/gal for gas, it's because the state taxes on gas are making up like half that cost. Gas is $3-$4 everywhere else.

Get *Afroman* on the job

European here, we pay around 8.90 dollar/gallon now because of your demented president who started this war on his own account. His sollution? We can buy oil from the US.

Jesus 7 dollars hasn't got that bad here yet but it's still up a dollar since last month

FWIW - I live in an area that voted 70% MAGA and to my amazement, ALL of that Trump shit that was everywhere, is overnight just GONE! The houses with two Trump flags, the window posters, the bunting, the hats -it's all gone. You still see a few regular size bumper stickers (too lazy to clean it off?) but none of those trucks with 20 stickers all over the back end. I don't know how deep it runs, but there definitely something going on in their feeble little brainboxes.

I dunno how anyone wears that hat anymore, I guess if people really like confrontation.

Every post I see here in California about our prices blames Newsom for gas taxes. Sure, that 25% increase in gas prices was due to taxes.....

POV: you are watching a guy buy $7 in gas next to another guy.

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I swear zoomers put POV like this just to trigger us.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Youd think after more than a third of a century of widely accessible video games and pornography people would understand wtf 'POV' means.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Have you ever heard of 3rd person?

"Its California's fault for closing most of their refineries" -every republican rn

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

They've also been begging for America to go to war with Iran for the last 47 years and FINALLY a president is listening.

They actually say this with a straight face.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

More or less, I still think its Israel holding trump by the balls but he listened nonetheless

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Why is California gas nearly double the price. Is it purely tax or are there additional costs like freight, labor etc?

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Probably oil companies just price gouging California since California is the proof that their platform is fucking lying.

1 week ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

61% of oil used in California is imported. It is NOT taxes. That is propaganda. It is the closing of the Strait of Hormuz and prices are going to get a lot higher because the last tankers from the Gulf are arriving now.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Gasoline and diesel are more expensive in California than other states, typically. This was the case before Trump attacked Iran; I recall gas prices hitting something like $5/gallon in Southern California around 15-20 years ago.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"What the market will bear," or something.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Since we’re on the internet my knee-jerk reaction was to figure out a fun argument. I lost. But a super fun fact that I learned!! There are transaction limits on gas pumps. So a person cannot own a tanker, fill it, and transport it. Sad.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I would believe this more if he didn't get in to a Kia. Should be a stupid truck with doulies, no exhaust (or one that sticks out near the back window), and a lot more Trump stickers.

1 week ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 5

I've noticed a lot of MAGAs who own these things.

Only soul they have and it wears a Kia badge, go figure.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some would say it's staged /s

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I drive a Kia AND live in Florida... im a big Ole liberal

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Same, but in Texas. I am so disappointed in my state.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same except suckass Oklahoma. It took a long ass time to find an electric soul but after like 7 months, one turned up with a reasonable deal and shipping included. This mf is so damn smooth. It's ten years old but oh man. It's not like ultra luxury but it's the nicest thing I've ever had.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah, my MAGA father loved KIAs, drove them for decades. Everyone else I know that owned a KIA was MAGA as well. Not sure why, they drove horribly, I'm guessing they advertised heavily on Fox or Newsmax or something.

1 week ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I drive that exact car in white. Never voted a repugnant in my life. It was affordable enough I could get it on disability,

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

come to think of it, the only person I know that has a kia is a libertarian, seems like an odd choice, who knows

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Or it's just dirt cheap compared to the big brodozer trucks, and they're at least cognizant of their own budgetary limitations?!

Also, my mother who is a liberal progressive, drives a Kia Soul.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's because they're cheap and you can drive them until they break instead of trying to maintain them for over 100k miles

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The reason I didn't just assume it was the cheapness was because they all seem to think they're great cars even though driving one for just 10 minutes makes it obvious that they aren't.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean, this is the same crowd that thinks modern F150s aren't plastic pieces of crap with baby beds, so...

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oddly enough, none of the MAGA cult I've seen are complaining about the cost of gas even though they will all say that was one reason they voted for him. Mainly because they don't want to say he's racist and allows them to justify being racist too.

1 week ago | Likes 341 Dislikes 4

These people refuse to admit their wrong. I dont waste my breath.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ive heard plenty blame it on gavin newsome here in cali

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He raised the price of gas across the entire world? Causing nations to have energy shortages?

Some time I think life could be more simple if I was as stupid as the normal MAGA person but remember the hat also comes with hate. And I just don't have the time to be that angry.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, I don't know what the average MAGA is saying because I avoid those people, but the paid trolls are saying it's Biden's fault because of the Keystone Pipeline. It's lame, but it's all they could come up with, so at least they tried.

5 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hope they keep sucking up to him all the way to the poorhouse.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They externaize blame so it will never be their fault or Trumps fault. They will end up blaming all this on Pete in the DOD when trump finally throws him under the bus.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No matter what, they will always come up with some kind of justification for why Trump is right and everyone else is wrong.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The ones I work with say its worth it to stop Iran

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They would rather the entire country fall to ashes than even entertain the possibility of the glimmer of the thought that The Liberals were actually right about everything.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They will refuse to say it out loud. They know why it's expensive

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Weird... as if that didnt matter at all and it was only about skin color.

1 week ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

the ones i know are so close to self awareness then they vear off. "i dont understand why gas is so expensive. America makes its own gas and we export more oil then we use." To which I respond it sounds like you are advocating for government price control which sounds like socialism to me... i thought you liked capitalism

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Their god-king said it was a good thing, so of course they're happy now.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's because the "great again" is the time when minorities and women weren't treated like people. They don't care about life and the economy, they just want to be racist again without any consequences.

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Being racist is just a way for them to think they are better than others. Without that, they would realize they are the bottom of the barrel.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Many would never admit they made a mistake out of some demented pride.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's because they have made MAGA such a part of who they are, to admit they made a mistake means accepting their entire personality is wrong. They will fight that to the end.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, Faux News told them not to complain about it, because it's just the cost of being a patriotic 'Murrkan.

1 week ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 1

Next on Faux News: "It's Americanly patriotic to take it in the ass from our Dear Leader!", and they'll cheer and line up for it

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I was literally told by one. "If by the end of the year its 10 dollars a gallon It will all be worth it to kick china in the balls." They literally do not care how much they or people they care about suffer. Just as long as someone they hate might suffer more. Even if its just in their head or fox news telling them they are.

Recently at CPAC: “Who wants impeachments?” *cheers! applause!* “No! That’s the wrong answer!”

1 week ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

And trump couldn't even show up for his own cheer squad. He was hiding at his private golf course.

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Also at CPAC *mentions Joe Biden* "why aren't you booing?"

1 week ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

They're are complaining like a motherfuck where I live in Alaska. Some of them are deluded enough to say it's still Biden/Kamala's fault because of "Executive orders they placed in effect back when Biden was in office." I ask why Trump doesnt just repeal those executive orders yet, twice I've had guns pulled on me, both times cops saw and the person freaked out and fled the scene, one of them on foot, the other hit three other cars with his own while I just kept quietly pumping my gas.

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Majority of cops are MAGA so why would they arrest their own?

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They still have some protocol to dictate here. Also in Alaska the cops are like one district for every 100,000 people and we have basically shown up on cops' families doorsteps before 1000+ strong. They keep their beliefs to themselves, do their jobs, and dont fuck with the common people that often.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That and normal Alaskans probably know where the polar bear nests and crevasses are to make problems go away quickly

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Friendly reminder for the class, "shown up at doorsteps 1000+ strong" is exactly how protests are supposed to work. Protests are supposed to be a threat. There's an implicit "...or else" attached to them.

Another friendly reminder: property tax records are often public, and people tend to pay more attention to demonstrations outside of their homes than those miles away downtown.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same here, and weirdly they all wouldn't shut up about gas prices being high when Biden was in office.

1 week ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

They still dont. They all are talking about how thos is as high as gas was during Biden. And " why weren't you crying about it when he was in office"

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's insane, because Biden's gas price blip was brief, and entirely due to a war between Ukraine and Russia, which he did a pretty good job navigating supporting Ukraine and keeping us out of the conflict. Whereas Trump's gas prices are the completely predictable consequence of his own unilateral decision to start a war that almost no one is the US wanted, even from the start. And he isn't catching a fraction of the fallout from it that Biden did.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Actually, the high gas prices during Biden's presidency were primarily due to the end of the lockdown (still not his fault, of course, it's basic economics). When lockdown started, demand plummeted (almost nobody commuting or traveling), so prices did as well. Oil companies don't want to lose money selling gas for less than it costs to produce, so they reduced production to compensate...

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...when the lockdown ended, oil companies had to hire more oil field workers, hire more refinery workers, drill new wells, open new refineries, and then that increased crude oil production had to make it all the way through the system from the fields to the refinery process and finally through the distribution network to the customers. It takes a long time, as you can imagine.
