The text I received from my mother on Commencement Day

So for background my mother is a sociopath. She was a drug addict and is currently an alcoholic. She spent my teenage years out at bars and romping around with her boyfriend. She emotionally abused my brother and I as well as physically abused me. I finally got to the point where I disinvited her from my graduation because she is consistently disrespectful and rude to my grandmother and the rest of my family. She's screwed up my credit score when I was a teenager so I have to work my way up now. I had made a Facebook post about this and apparently she went snooping around today after all my graduation pictures were posted. I'm moving forward into a new chapter in my life and I don't need a mother who will willingly say hurtful things to her children and make everything about her. Just because they're blood doesn't make them family. #bad mom #mothersday #mothers_day

Oh here's my graduation cap tax. I'm a first generation graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Art, and did it without any help from anyone. I'm truly proud of where I've come.

TLDR; My mom is a massive cunt, I kicked her out of my life and I graduated college on my own with a BFA.

I went through a great Visual Communication program (Graphic Design) that’s ran by a communications college and I plan on being a UX/UI designer. I already have a full time paying job lined up!
