I'm conflicted on this post

These aren't much Celtic but more epic with a Celtic influence. Still good music though.

If you want something more ambient for a change check out Warduna.

Enya

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Motorhead

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

downvoted for not knowing what he is talking about, but favorited.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why did OP start the post with a pic of Luke Skywalker?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

C'mon no mention of Enya or Clonnad? No one watched Harry's Game?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Clannad are great. Mostly from same family, Enya was originally a member. Enya is a favourite to chill out to.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you like Enya, try Maire (also from Clannad). Her solo stuff is quite lovely, and a little more uptempo than Enya.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Antti Martikainen makes absolutely amazing music, he definitely deserves more attention!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wardruna is my personal favorite.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Glad someone said it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The binge is still going. It's becoming a problem.

10 years ago | Likes 151 Dislikes 4

Hell yeah! I grew up on celtic music, and this was a staple in our home.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

went to the store, back in half an hour

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

She is the only music concert I've ever been to in my lifetime and I love her. Mummer's Dance will never get old for me.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yes!!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She's been my favorite musician since about 1990. Finally getting to see her live in March!

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I've seen her live twice, you're in for a really good show

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mummer's dance is best.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I would argue that either Lady of Shallot or her rendition of Greensleeves trumps Mummer's, but to each their own.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mummers dance is my jam!

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

YES! Those opening notes make me think of rolling hills and waves crashing upon rocks. Marco Polo and Marrakesh Night Market are also my fav

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If you like McKennitt, you should try Heather Dale

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

I just checked her out. She has a track called "Never Set the Cat on Fire". I like her already.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You folks have good recommendations, I'll be back :)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
