Edit in : Keep watching after the brace falls, it gets worse/better depending on whether you’re an insurance company or you like construction fails (thanks to @Easykehl for noticing)

Ok to repost a video again and again- but this is only half the video. The remainder shows the large building above the wall collapsing.

The camera was filming so low that I instinctively tried to scroll up...

His distressed head grab after the first brace fell. Poor guy. I can't image his reaction to the rest.

It moved at the bottom so the top shores fell out..... a two year old works that out with toy blocks!?!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

things like this happen because people film vertically.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ooh, if you watch the video, you can hear the ties giving.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if you watch the video even longer, a house eventually fall down on top of this

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The sounds from the actual video is amazing.

This was in an Indian state called Kerala which experienced extreme flooding during monsoons this year. Lot of structures failed. Land slide

The Western Wall of the Temple (Wailing Wall) is also a retention wall, check out the size of the rocks to hold the earth.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The fools undercut the foundation of the wall, and GRAVITY is a mean old bitch!

Water was the culprit kinda like the way dams fail

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

grandfather an uncles did building tear downs like this for year, not once would they put a man in danger like this.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would have stopped watching if it weren’t for this comment.

At least that residential building held. For that moment.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It collapsed 2 years later

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gif cuts of to early. Eventually the house, the corner of which you can barely see in the collapse, falls as well.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Afaik, it was constructed illegally and sloppily with a bad foundation. Noone was hurt though, since they kind of anticipated the collapse.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How anticipates something like this and still goes on?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is from last time it was posted. Apparently it was decided to be statically unsound and they evacuated everything.

Heard that, they had a hard time not allowing the operator not to go back there minutes before. He wanted his hyundai out of the hole.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It was. But the Hyundai had 3 orphans and a nun in it.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Its definitely full now.

7 years ago | Likes 131 Dislikes 0

It wasn't. You can see the hardhat. :(

Ahh, ok. Now that you froze it I see it better. What I thought was just a black square front is the entire cab. See to the back of the cab-

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

- there's a little yellow round thing? In the speed of the video I thought that was the hardhat. I've worked construction on sites with-

- smaller backhoes where the driver sits exposed. This one is way bigger. Thanks for showing this- I thought the operator was dead.
