Sometimes the acne comes back anyway, like it did for me.
bengalgod
Army put my dad on Accutane. He came out of it with a clearer face for a few years, but it came back when he stopped. Plus Crohn's Disease.
fudgepuppyorangecake
Nothing to pop now :(
The only downside :(

It was really rough, but I'll never regret Accutane! Seriously saved my face and my body!
crasemanna
I would pick the hell out of that face... would have lost track of time and space, missed work and important dates to squeeze for for blood
TimShufflebottom
10/10 would tear you a new one. And by new one I mean wrapping paper as you were wrapping gifts.
BriPri
Well, obviously!
RoyDMercer
+1 for the extra effort.
mrweekend
Worst part for me was the constant blood work that had to be done. Took it in the winter, in Illinois, can sympathize
StanHalfTheAnswerMan
I'd like to see the "new one" but this give women of the world new hope.
imnotchris
my face was badly swollen because of acne and it was so painful to eat or talk. 12 months on Accutane and it cleared it all, I was so happy!
And the confidence you gain after a successful run on the drug is insane

That shit is hardcore. My sister's both took it as teenagers and had to take a pregnancy test every month cuz it will fuck a fetus up!
RJ123abc
Dont just stop using it cause your face will be 100x worse
tivvybrixx
oh man that shit tore me up but it worked after the second round.

I had a friend who went on this, cleared his acne up but he also got a serious psychosis and was out of comission on hard meds for a year
REOSpeedWeed
Besides the labs and the blood taking, the one thing that pissed me off was the chapped lips
MisterOp
You have a pretty face. Congratulations!

How's the liver holding up?
I had an abdominal ultrasound, and my liver is perfectly healthy! Only long term side effects have been chapped lips and confidence.
Good to hear, it works wonders but wrecked my buddies liver
poppypooley
As a former acne sufferer.. that's amazing.

I apply lasagna. I mean, it doesn't help with acne, but it's sexy as all get-out
NoOneFromNowhereWithNothingToSay
Mmm...lasagna.
AladdinTheMuffinMan
Mmm you've got me very aroused and I'm a man...
SlickerThanNick
i would enjoy belly flopping into a large (8'Lx6'W) pan of baked lasagna

Thank you! :)

When my wife started eating low carb her skin had similar results. She wasn't expecting that. Either bread or sugar was causing problems.

Salsa?

Congrats. I took it for two years but it never completely worked for me.
AbsoluteFuckingWaffle
Accutane is apparently like unleashing Voldemort on your parents. You're gonna get scarred. Repost of my comment cos I thought it was kinda
clever. Though on the fixed post it doesn't work anymore. :(

I always up vote self-esteem, also, grats on the clear skin!
Thanks! :)

What the fuck is so great about self-esteem? It only breeds empty self-centric assholes.
