The personality, the accent, the storyline, all of it makes her the best imo. I actually risked bricking my save so I could date her properly and flush out her story.
Honestly I think there's love for everyone. I only hate Shadowheart myself and even then it's more a strong irritation. I think her character arc is the weakest (for me she just... randomly decided to change, pretty much, like 'guess i'm a good guy now!!!') and is just generally annoying and backstabby. Edgelord supreme. Gimme Lae'zel over her any day
You have to either respec her into a different type of cleric or boost her wisdom and she turns into a thresher with those spells. Only took me until lvl 6 to get her to be better than a coin toss
Seriously though, an NPC trickster cleric? It's thematic, but it's setting newbies up for failure
Radiance. build. Become tank AF, misty step into the middle of enemies, dump a whole lot of unavoidable damage and give enemies -10 to hit. Works like a charm every single time. The secret to doing dnd well is to have a balanced party. Not everyone's job is to smack things.
Only use her fireball to hit barrels or ignite grease. Gale with grease and Shadowheart fireball actually trivialize 90% of encounters in my honor mode run even in act 3, and I've forbidden myself from using it this run because it helped me beat the game so fast and easily on what is supposed to be the most agonizingly brutal difficulty.
One that doesn’t rely on her hitting spells like guiding bolt, sacred flame, or fire bolt. So like Life cleric or something that relies on save for half spells

It looks more like she has eyes for eyes but it's still a pretty dope illustration.

I saw it and shared it earlier today. After looking at it for a while I have to say this is really a great fanart.

Shar's blessings? What exactly are Shar's blessings, exactly? Amnesia, chronic pain, homicidal sociopathy? Or is this just an eyeliner thing?

Shart is great! Fire wife has my heart personally though:

I want to have fun with Karlach, but i want Shadowheart to whisper me to sleep.

No love for the tragically camp vampire that makes Nathan lane look like Chuck norris?

Hot art. I like her hair a lot.

Thanks!

Thanks for reminding me that she has hair

One of the rare cases where her bangs look good.
NateintheNorth
I hate them even more when she goes blonde.

Bangs *always* look good.

Yeah, those just look a bit goofy most of the time. Luckily there's mods to fix that.

Shadowheart always stays in camp. She annoys me, but I still wanna heal her.
yesiamclutz
Respec her as a light cleric and optimise her attributes and she's indispensable... Or given that much change yeah maybe just replace her...

You could replace her with Minthara.

Getting through act 2 in 2 easy steps. Step 1) cast Spirit Guardians. Step 2) jog a bit.

Yea...Fire bolt uses intellect to cast which is usually not a clerics strong suite. It's only really useful to start fires

Building her as a radiance tank makes her a walking solar flare and no enemies can hit anything. I love it.

imjustabill495
Just use the spirit guardian spell and turn her into a walking bulldozer. It makes act 2 significantly easier
TheBigBadBonerBiter
Spirit Guardians paired with Luminous Armor to inflict Radiating Orb on everything made act 2 a cakewalk.

Note: This won't help her Firebolt. Firebolt still relies on INT.

I try to give her that ogre's circlet of intelligence as soon as possible for this reason.
casualgenderquestion2718
do you kill Lump or do you summon them into a fight and try to get them to die organically??
JohnEdwa
Both. Summon them to help in a fight (or three), refuse to pay if they survive and they attack at low HP.
reimakurei
At first i read "ogrenically" and it was perfect lol
Miyamotofan
Why would turning her into a different cleric subclass help?
MissPhoenix56
One that doesn’t rely on her hitting spells like guiding bolt, sacred flame, or fire bolt. So like Life cleric or something that relies on save for half spells
Miyamotofan
Oh, I was thinking the implication was another cleric subclass would be more accurate with spell attacks and I couldn't figure out how. Fair enough.
Nismu
I like make her Tempest cleric for martial weapons/heavy armor and better spells, and adjust stats to max str&wis heavy.
