Arguably, minecraft is a surprisingly intensive game.

W8 , is that Tibia on the PC in the last pic? anyone got any context for that pic?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Brah you how much computing power's required to run 100+ Minecraft mods at once? At least 15 more RAMs

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Retro indie games on expensive computer.... I'm so damn guilty. Last demanding game I played was TW3

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh no, poor thing... it's retarded...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just finished my first custom build today

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Last picture kid will divorce in about 7 years unless bsod will take SO

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Ive said it before ill say it again...PC masterbates

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Gotta love being able to view porn in UltraHD 120fps 3D with DTS surround sound!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

W A D, okay. But why would you backpaddle that much?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you play often enough to have a board looking like that, odds are you have headphones to hear behind you. Backpedal whilst shooting forwd

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

More like sign of a shitty keyboard, pleb.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can barely get 49 fps on tf2 Smh

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately his wife will be aged and outdated in 4 years

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Like consoles.. except you can upgrade a PC in many different ways so you can stretch it to 5-6 years easily.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#3: Do you not climate control your house?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In my area almost none has AC and much of the heating is crappy electric baseboards. Gets just hot/cold enough to mess with computers.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

PCMR for the win!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have that case in #6! Antec LanBoy Air, awesome case. Mine is yellow though

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just play what you enjoy and can afford. As long as you are enjoying it who gives a shit what anyone else thinks?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Everyone gives a shit what other people think.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

PC doesn't compare itself to console, that's not contest. The problem is consoles holding gaming back, both financially and graphically.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I'm the guy in pic #5 I cry every time

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Motherfucker I would pay money to bring back the shirts with flames on. Ironically at first, and then secretly unironically.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ew

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Minecraft WILL run better on a better PC. I'm just going to tell you that. If you want a 512 texture pack you better have a monster rig.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Who cares about Minecraft now?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

How much dedotated wam do you have?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

5820K, 32GB DDR4, 2x980Ti's, 8GB RAM dedi to MC... and I prefer to play with near-vanilla textures. >.>;

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Rhen conisder modded and shaders

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

unfortunately this is actually true

I have a hell of a time reading the bios info because it boots so fast.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I played Skyrim on my friend's ps3, I could read all the neat little blurbs. Now the text can't even display before the area loads :(

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I barely see the tip screen in S:SE, running off a M.2 SSD... and Open Cities Skyrim helps cut them down a LOT!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I got my M.2 drive, I started having the same problem.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got a mod for SSE with sarcastic loading screens. I don't get to enjoy it much.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I first played Mass Effect 2... something was borked in my install. My loadscreens took 30-50 seconds (should've been 5-10)... 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lets just say I really hated the extra floors on the Normandy. Saw that stupid load screen they have soooooo much. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Experiencing this with Dark Souls 3... fortunately those are mostly items descriptions you can find in game. Doesn't explain much though :)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Read them again. And don't come out until you do!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's fun to read the partial tips in tf2. Pick up on the new tips mid sentence. As scout, you with sticky inviswatch medic buddy

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

God i love tf2. Hard to believe it's 9 years old

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No way, mass effect andromeda is coming out soon (and im playing xenoverse)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I use mine for LoL, Netflix and Imgur.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Can I have your computer you can have mine it is a laptop so you can watch Netflix anywhere with wifi, it has a good hard drive so yea.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I have invested too much time and money in this one. Also, I need my three screens for maximum shitposting.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

+1 for making me laugh loudly in the middle of a five guys

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

See, I can't make people laugh loudly in the middle of their orgies, if I can't maximum shitpost on three monitors.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

$10K on a computer?? What kind of games do you play on it? NASA?

9 years ago | Likes 238 Dislikes 1

10k computer is hella excessive and mostly done for bragging rights, much like the guy who's commuter car could do drag races.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No it said Minecraft can't you read /s

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Minecraft renders so well, it looks like real life.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Here I am saving and just trying to buy my build for 15% cheaper during the holidays.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have a friend that legit has spent 10k on a single computer.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, Minecraft....

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

one of my favorite pastimes used to be going onto https://www.originpc.com/ and putting together the most expensive rig I could for giggles.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've done that as well, back when I had considered getting an Alienware lol

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, if you play Kerbal Space Program with a shit ton of mods... yes?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do, and my comp maybe cost $1000 three years ago.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That'll cost me five months pay.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I usually put a little away for several months. Plan on buying whats out now so that in 6 months time, its cheaper and I can buy more lol

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Titan X x2 - $3,200, i7-6950X - $1,650, 128GB of RAM - $1,050, motherboard - $550, 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD - $1,200, 4TB SATA SSD - $1,400

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

Why the fuck would you need an i7-6950X for gaming? An i5 works just fine.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Or buy from a shop.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That's a workstation, not a gaming rig.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What you've priced out there can be made a VM host and resold to a few hundred customers and would only be bound by RAM.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Nah, don't waste the money on the GPU's, get a dual-socket Xeon board and load it up on RAM +1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well like I said, unless you plan on being a supercomputer for NASA...WHY? lol

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's the extreme end of the curve though. You can get a machine 80% as good as that one for $2000. Severe price/performance drop after 3K.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah you still get a good performance bump from dual-SLI, and a good dual-SLI rig will run you $3,000 not $2,000.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's $9,000 before case, PSU, water cooling, monitors, mouse and keyboard, headphones, and other miscellaneous things.

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

I think the question is more, why would you need those...

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Like what games NEEDS that spec, but +1 for making me feel poor..

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Nothing in existence needs 1/5th of that spec if we're talking games.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Heh, it's one of those "I need the best!!!!!11!1!!!!!1!one111"... if you are going to dump $10k it should really be a more focused build

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But I could make a server for my bioinformatic simulations that easily hits $100,000 with only 1 motherboard, computers can vary greatly!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

To play arkham at 12 fps.

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0
