I've decided to give hand-quilting a try, armed with discounted Gutermann and a couple old gray sheets. Which R/G/B/P thread set should I use: left, top right, bottom right?

It's a quilt, so it should be relaxing. Warm or friendly colors, not bright. I would go with the blue or purple on top right.

I personally like either the dark navy or plum at the bottom right.

I was thinking just straight lines or maybe a simple square/triangle and going around that. This is mostly just an experiment at the moment
