Big wood! ?

Is there a slower, longer video of this?

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

What a waste.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

what a waste of wood

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tacky looking waste of a lot of good wood, in my opinion.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's not amazing, that's tasteless

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think we're missing a few steps here.

Sadly, some countries (China especially so) are fuelling the illegal Rosewood trade.

Wow that red oak (or whatever it is) is really red even before they finish it.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yo can I have your offcuts?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Obviously aliens had a hand in the creation...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was expecting dickbutt.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So at the end, what is it?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

at around 10 seconds in, there was a real "draw the rest of the fucking owl" moment there.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Those are some tiny people working on that little stick.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...do not call me up to help you move that.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

That is one fancy buffet

It’s a tea table - most Chinese homes have this in the living room, albeit not as artisan as this, but all with the same core functionality.

Thank you

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How was the smell?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A good waste of wood

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

true!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What a waste of a beautiful tree

5 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 15

It's so gross too, that's the real shame.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

All that wood to make it look like plastic? Meh...

5 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 7

Agree, tacky design as well

The varnish does look too waxy. A nice clear coat would have done the trick with the wood already being that beautiful

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Do you know the name of it?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

what wood is that? it is very red

5 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 3

Most likely paduak.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The best kind for soaking logs

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Sweet potato

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Only wood I've ever worked with that color is padauk. But not sure if that's what that is exactly.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Could be padauk

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Red soaked in wood

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dawn redwood, a relative of the North American Sequoia which grows in China. Apparently its rare, to the point of being endangered.

5 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 7

Definitely not. Dawn redwood looks NOTHING like this. It's most likely Paduak. No idea where you got your informatio or why you got upvotes.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well, theres no safer place for any endangered organism than China!

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Other countries too

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They love their pandas.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
