I was not expecting that under all those baggy clothes wow

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I saw a video of her in something like a ball gown, and holy crap.

Somehow this will piss off the Right Wingers because her name is Billie.

Whether her music is your thing or not, she has an absolutely fantastic voice and range. Undeniable talent, and I am no pop fan.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I experience some mild envy here. Goddamn.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only time I ever wanted to be a lesbian.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

So far.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Is she talented? Yes. Do 90% of her songs sound exactly the same, like someone is bleeding out in a bear trap while also trying to do an ASMR video? Also yes. Is her brother -- who writes most of her songs knowing full well his sister is singing them -- super creepy and probably going to end up on a 60 Minutes episode? Again, yes.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 12

That second part betrays the fact that you've heard exactly one of her songs and extrapolated the rest lol

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

My daughter liked her music years ago, it's not my thing. But I saw her on My Next Guest Needs No Introduction w/David Letterman and was quite impressed with her.

1 year ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

Elder millennial me, can confirm she’s very good, wide range

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

wide range? of what? (if you mean her music, I think 90% of her music very much has a very small range of style)

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I would suggest you haven’t seen a whole lot of stuff she’s done, honestly very talented

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love her so much, and yes she's incredibly talented. But her music definitely seems to follow a certain vibe, and she kinda sticks to that vibe. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, most artists have a certain style (Adele, Taylor Swift, Kiiara). Billy Eilish falls into the "airy falsetto" style for me, like kinda dreamy, not powerhouse, with small range and slow melodic transitions. Can you show me what you mean with her having a wider range?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never been a fan of her. All body positivity until she just constantly talks shit about ugly guys. She is a misandrist.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 7

Lol, you are the gross old man she never wants to fuck. Die mad.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Im 29, and wouldnt date someone who actively body shames men, i have some self respect. Get some for yourself, maybe it would help with learning some decency.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Drop us just one link where she's "talked shit about ugly guys."

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Literally right fucking there

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Asks me to drop one link, drops the link, downvotes the link. Man the blinders are fucking long on you billie simps.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Here you go, hat-tipper. I gave you your precious internet points back. Good job digging up one interview (hardly the "constantly talking shit" you claim) from an 18 year old girl half a decade ago that you still hold onto like a personal insult. Sad, misogynist incels really are fucking pathetic.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She looks sad...

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 10

Pretty sure this is the shoot for "Happier than ever" and that album is 110 percent melancholy.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's an artistic vogue photoshoot, you aren't exactly supposed to smile lol

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I think you missed the joke

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

not that it's a good joke..

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Wasn't this the artist who always dressed frumpy so people wouldn't sexualize her. Owell. Whatever makes her happy. Makes me happy.

1 year ago | Likes 151 Dislikes 34

When she was younger than 18, yes

1 year ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 1

When she was 17, yes.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When she was a child, yes.

1 year ago | Likes 135 Dislikes 4

When she was a minor and stated that she lacked the skills or maturity to handle what she knew would be constant body criticism because of her developing shape. Yes. We put too much on adolescent kids who are just trying to deal with hormones.

1 year ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 0

Wow the number of nearly exact same replies to this is hilarious.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yes, she did that while she was a teenager, aka a minor. Now that she's an adult she no longer sees it as an issue.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

When she was just a yoot, yes. With her brother, they were two yoots, yes

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

During an era of her life in which legal adult status was not achieved, yes.

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

She was "grossed out" thinking middle aged men, men her Dad's age, would sexualize her.

1 year ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

When her age was between but not including 0 and 19, yes.

1 year ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Yes. It's almost like people change as they age. Who would have thought?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought it was because of body dysmorphia issues.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When she was aye but a wee lass, yes.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I checked her Instagram page and she still dresses frumpy.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Whaaaat?! Well, then I don't understand ANY of this! /s

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For the pre-adult years of her life, yes

1 year ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Everyone saying it was only when she was a minor, she came out recently and said it again so...

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

People keep saying it was when she was a minor, which is fair, but it also shouldn't matter in how she chooses to present herself. Even if she was in her twenties and wanted to be "frumpy" there is nothing wrong with it nor is there anything wrong with changing one's mind about their presentation. It isn't like David Bowie picked one look and stuck with it for his entire life.

1 year ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Yes, but in this particular case, the reason for the frumpy dress is exactly for this very sad reason of her not wanting to be sexualized by men her dads age at 15 years old.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When she was a kid, yes.

1 year ago | Likes 102 Dislikes 2

I know I'm going to get crucified for this but since when is a 17 year old a kid? By rights an 18 year old would also be a 'kid' then. Not like they hit some sort of maturity bomb when the clock strikes midnight.

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 44

I'm just attempting to make a humorous comment in line with the others.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Biologically an 18 year old isn't done growing. So yeah. But being recognised as a legal adult in society grants them more rights and responsibilities. It doesn't mean others are off the hook for not recognising their immaturity. There's a reason older people who pursue 18 year olds are regarded as creeps.

1 year ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

For the purposes of public sexual displays, that is a kid.

1 year ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 2

I'm sorry. They are still a kid at 18, IMO. By law, no, but by and large around the world? I'd still consider it so.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

That's kinda what I was getting at. I'm not creeping on her I just think the entire thing is hypocritical. Like Meghan Trainor or Lizzo.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

It's certainly arbitrary, yes, for it to be illegal, rape, and even pedophilia - the most vile thing we have - for a person to sleep with another person who's 17, and then one hour later they turn 18 and it's suddenly fully legal, moral, and (largely) socially acceptable for the same thing to happen. Nothing changed besides compliance under the law, which we all know is not inherently moral in and of itself.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And in most US states, it is 16, not 18.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So what's a reasonable approach to judging the situation? Probably seeing it as a gradual spectrum, where SAing a toddler is considerably worse than statutory with a willing teen, and we use separate words; and the exact degree of the ages or gap determines the level of offense, on both sides of the legal age of consent. I'd trust a guy that had sex with a 16 year old, in a relationship, when he was 19, a billion times more than someone who kidnapped a ten year old at the store. To some degree

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

most people agree but the specifics are a matter of opinion. Like 18 and 36... Legal, but... Fine, or creepy? Depends who you ask. Personally, I think the whole half your age plus 7, as memetic and cutesy as it is, is actually a pretty good rule. I also think we should stop counting by years if there's any question, because that's a 730 day margin of error. 16 yr old and 19 yr old have sex, ok, so what if yesterday was 16's birthday and tomorrow is 18's, so they're close to 15 and 20?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hell, 25 year olds are still kids.

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Hell! I'm pushing 60 and I'm still a kid. Just ask my wife of 30 years.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Nah, you should be old enough to understand.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She's only thirty? You dog...

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If she wants tea, she can have tea. Before she didn’t want to show off her tea. Now she seems to have decided she wants to try showing off how nice her tea set looks.

The important part is that she has every right to decide when and how much she wants to share her tea with others.

It’s weird to be bothered by someone’s relationship with tea. (Tolerance paradox notwithstanding of course; fuck the fuckers.)

1 year ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 9

You British pongo!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this another one of those new slang terms the youth are trying to use these days? The fuck is 'tea'?

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Bingo.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is well put

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Is anybody bothered?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought we were talking about thighs. What kind of tea is this? English breakfast? Earl gray?!?

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Naugh-tea

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Thx. Never heard this reference before
