With climate change getting worse:

Here's a question for ya: was the debate an example of 'the system is broken and needs fixing', or 'the system is working as intended and needs to be destroyed'?

Not even s’mores would be good over that

Old fucks who didn’t get out and pass the baton when they should have are killing the Democratic Party. Feinstein, Ginsburg, Biden … stop. Move over!

Needs a few more trash bags full of dirty Depends and some cases of spoiled Ensure.

...funny...Ensure...Depends...weird way to market to the elderly. Those products should probably switch names.

My favorite part is when the 2 old guys started arguing about golf.

Any guys who start talking about golf make me want to slap everybody within reach

If you could call it that. With no fact checking it was 'yells lies loudly' and 'I'm too old and tired to have to explain this shit'

That's an accurate analogy. It was a roll play of my night terrors. Jeesh

"too old and tired *and currently suffering from a cold to have to explain this shit"

Definitely a large dumpster fire.

I agree, but I'm curious as to why you think so.

Because it is a dumpster, that's on fire...

I started a drinking game on election night 2016. I call it Leaving Las Vegas. I'm...winning?

My takeaway after the debate

I mean I hate Trump and will still vote for Biden but real talk homie looked rough (for the 20 minutes I could stand to watch at least)

He apparently was getting over a cold. Plus he does have a speech impediment.

It made me sad that Biden is the knight at the gates that lead to fascist chaos. Yeah, he's old. He should get to spend his golden years doing old man stuff, not trying to fight off a lunatic Ritchie Rich who would rather sell his soul and country to its enemies than be held accountable for his actions.

100% this. Empathetic tired old man vs old fascist psycho criminal who will destroy democracy. Please vote.

I am hoping, although I consider it fairly low odds, for the following scenario: 1: Biden wins election. 2: Fast forward to Jan. 20, 2025. 3: Biden swears in for his second term. 4: [FIVE MINUTES LATER] 5: Biden immediately resigns, in the ultimate Dark Brandon troll move, giving us President Harris.

It's not likely. The only presidential resignation in our history was done under duress. But he'd get to enjoy his twilight years in peace.

I mean, he could step down whenever. But I think he feels a personal duty to see this through. He's a modern Don Quixote, but Trump is far more dangerous than any busted ass windmill.

No one knows wind like Trump.

Wait. It would be more accurate to say no one blows wind like Trump.

As for stepping down "whenever", doing it right at the start of a term would ensure a full term under Ms. Harris.
