Ukraine governance has a LOT of internal corruption that needs to be corrected before NATO will accept them (they'r working on it, kinda), but NATO and UN should absolutely provide peacekeepers until that work in inevitably done.
I guess we've done "just enough" in aid to "hold up" our end of the bargain.. Me, I woulda had a division or 3 on the ground and air on day one.. then built a Maginot Line from Black Sea to the Baltic..
