WouldYouLikeaForkinKnife
But animals in captivity is cruel .. have you ever seen a wild animal that lusciously soft?
JullTheMull
I have done that... One time worked 8 hours straight, to groom, clean and paint the hair ect.
And its purly for the looks of the cow. They are for breeding and are sold to make babies. Therefor they must look as perfect as possible.
jatene
No. I can say I never blow-dried a cow.
ostawaffle

gopracticespittingoutteeth
No but if you feed a cow beer all its life and massage it a couple times a day you'll end up with the dank dank steak
dogneely
Of course a happy confident per- i mean animal tastes the best.
HoytLancaster
oooooooooooo ya, massaging them helps too. The love and care put into them is definitely tasted in the meat. Cooking it is what ruins it.
HapilyDamaged

A happy cow is a tasty cow.

They aren't though. It's just a certain breed
sublehs
No but they are. It's just to get them show ready. Family friends show steers and heifers and yep- they look like this before show.
thatguythatlaysthepipes
Seconded :) Australian who has showed cattle. They get friggen adorable.
blitherypoop
If so, that's a show trend that hasn't made it to Pennsylvania. They're clipped so short here that they're practically shaved smooth.
Here in Ohio people actually have air conditioned rooms that they put them in to thicken up their coat. All for show
They're definitely not cows. They're steers.
Lofoten
What's a steer?
Edro20
A bullock minus bollacks
flamingflamingo
That third one looks female.
It might be, but it's young. That would make it a heifer, not a cow.
Squossifrage
The only thing that comes from Texas besides queers.
bull - balls = steer (though the one on the right might be a heifer)
LilacDoozy
I would think the balls would be required to give the steer any value at an auction.
Nope. Lack of balls are what makes a steer a steer. They fatten up better and can be kept with other steers. Bulls are aggressive.
Plus they're being sold for meat or for "finishing" before being sold for meat.
ballsohard2202
It's a male bovine. Cows are females
No, it's a castrated male. An intact male is a bull.
Thanks, it's been a while since FFA aha
