I am horrified, but also not. America taught intellectual dishonesty to everyone it could. Everyone without massive wealth was sold distractions, comfort, convenience, and pharmaceutical drugs (which counts as all three a lot). When everyone is blind, the worst can be done.

@op the thing we failed to truely realise is that USA have a deep ideological problem. You can eventually get rid of this regime but the truth is a huge portion of the population wants this. How do you change the mind of 30 mils people? Especially people that hate empathy and tolerance? In Germany it only worked because they went to the point of no return and got severely punished. And tbh, even with all that, it’s coming back hard atm… I think the problem is deeper and global.

I live in a gunfree country, and have enough supplies to last me weeks possibly months if rationed: not a prepper but just a bargain hunter that stacks up when things are half price or under. But if someone else has a gun, he'll take my supplies whenever he wants.

I've worked in a tonne of different trades and environments and can honestly say it's everywhere. There were a lot more of them in the metal shop, lumber yard, and construction site, but I've met many office/sales dummies who fit right in belief wise they just feel superior to the piss-on good ole boys lower down the ladder. I've gleefully been despised by most of them because I never let them get away with their shit. They can never take what they dish, just a bunch of weak wannabe tough boys.

You're not alone and there are many people who are better off than you who want to help. Talk to your neighbors, friends, acquaintances, and anyone else you interact with to organize in support of one another. Part of the culture war BS the rich have sold you for decades is that everyone around you is your adversary and that you need to do everything yourself. That is complete shit. There's no shame in asking for help and helping where you can. People will back you if you all stand up together.

If you increase earth and water (structure & flexibility) you will decrease fire and wind. But you can also do earth, water, fire to make him less crazy but will make him angrier. It only fails when we stop seeing them as drastically flawed people, which is what they are, and decide that they are subhuman. Not everyone can change their mind/beliefs but enough can that it's worth continuing to be humane. I understand how far things have fallen in recent decades, but people are people, the bad stuff is humanity too and executing everyone who's brain isn't in the right place is no different than what they want to do to the groups they feel are destructive and evil.
