And it'll probably never happen again.

That’s actually happening for me right now, and I’m terrified that reading this has cursed me to only have one workable nostril for days.

Beware tho, you'll over oxygeneratify your brain and begin prevolving into a primordial state of retro-rexoloisis

TMW you've been stuffy all day, then you suddenly feel a rush of air flowing through a once clogged nostril v

For three whole minutes?? You lucky dog!

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Im just now getting over a cold. Read this, took a deep breath thru both nostrils and thanked God for this gift.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Incredible! Upon readings this, I realized, perhaps for the first time in my life, that both my nostrils were functioning properly

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have asthma, and that has happened to me exactly once in my life. I'm ecstatic when I can breathe even through one nostril.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You used to do cocaine too!?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

LIES!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can hope to be this lucky tonight, in bed.

6 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 2

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Alright, I came back to upvote.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Man I feel this post right in my sinuses

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

10 push ups clears my nose, sometimes briefly sometimes all night. 10 is all I can do, so do more if you’re not weak like me

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't brag, it's unbecoming.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Just in time to catch that guy in your sprinklers.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I struggled with this for 31 years. Had surgery 2 months ago to allow me to breathe through my nose all the time. Best thing I've ever done.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I had it done at 29 and couldn’t believe the difference.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wait I thought it was just me.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did you see Batman?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He’s a little later in the morning.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's not possible! Only witches haves such powers!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same. I just blew my nose and reminisced about the brief moment this morning that I thought that my cold was finally gone.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I do a bunch of blow too same problem

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Talk to me when you can breath from both nostrils and your butt at the same time

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Um people cant do this most of the time??

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When will it be my turn!?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck you and your nostrlis.......im so envious!!!!?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My boyfriend has anosmia & a deviated septum, the 1st time he uses Afrin he was amazed at the ability to breath out both nostrils.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

I hope he isn't using it all the time.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He’s not. He actually said “I can see how people get addicted to this feeling. It’s amazing!”

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why not?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nose gets used to it, so it doesn't help and you become dependent on it. If you use it long enough, it can damage your nose. I don't know 1/

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 what happens if you only use it at night.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

what is your secret, oh Master?

6 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 3

Flonase. No joking.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I struggled with this for years THEN, put a humidifier in the bedroom.2 weeks so far of BOTH nostrils wide open! Still going strong. Finally!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Could become a mouth breather

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Common civilization disease caused by dry indoor air, especially in the winter. Often leads to sinus infections. Especially since people ...

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

use cheap humidifiers, which are breeding grounds for bacteria. Instead, dap some tap water in your nostrils every time you wash your hands…

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and keep a second glass of water on the nighstand to moisturize your nose when you wake up at night. Works great in my experience.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your body cycles breathing from nostril to nostril to prevent drying out.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

That cycle restricts the airflow on alternating sides, but it doesn't completely block one nostril.Complete congestion is a sign of infection

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

God clarification.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good clarification

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Explains why I'm dry as fuck, I'm always enjoying the open ventilation

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I breathe through both nostrils because I've always had a hole in my septum, so my nose is always dry :(

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What kind of dark magic are you speaking of? Only one nostril works at a time!

6 years ago | Likes 326 Dislikes 2

it sucks when its the one being stuffed tho^^

6 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

This is actually normal. Turns out the body only uses one at a time, you just usually don't notice until it switches and there's a problem.

6 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

It's called a deviated septum. A simple outpatient procedure can correct it. I need to have it done

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

Well by problem I meant like, congestion or something equally as insignificant. Not everyone has an anatomical blockage.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sinus Plummer Nose Spray works like dark magic (burns like a mofo for 2 seconds ) instant deep breathing thru both nostrils

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I think they mean in human physiology the nostrils switch turns between being active and inactive.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

no, they switch between "primary" and "secondary". one nostril opens completely and the other is something like half closed.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I Breathe through both at most times O.o

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

No silly you inhale thru the right exhale thru the left

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Ah, those precious moments....so few, so fleeting.

6 years ago | Likes 678 Dislikes 3

Just lay on ur back

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just had a ENT doc tell me I have the worst deviated septum he's ever seen ever. Now I have to see a ENT plastic surgeon.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

get a septoplasty and perhaps a turbinate reduction. it has been so incredibly worth it

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or one of those nose bones.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm probably going to be going to have a balloon sinuplasty happen soon, o have turbinate hypertrophy.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had this done and could breathe better right after surgery even with gauze/blood still in my nose. Big change for me

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How does this work exactly ? Do they drill bigger holes ? My nose is bad at nosing

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Go to an otolaryngologist. Trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. I’ve even lost a bunch of weight because no more apnea

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

WAIT YOU CAN LOSE WEIGHT FROM THAT??

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes
