What a weirdo. Not you though. Nice ducks.

There are actual people like this roaming about the place.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Someone should seriously do a study on people over 30 and ellipses.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unpopular Opinion: Once you engage them, you're just as bad as them.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Why would anyone ghost her? She seems nice.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

I know someone like this too... took anything you said as a threat, while actually making real threats. Then when called out "I'm a bot"...

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have had my # for almost 20 years. Every once in a while I'll get a text from random numbers going yo dawg is (amateur rapper) hit me up.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

One I got a text from this presumably also an amateur rappers mother who insisted that I had the wrong #. If I was sure the my # was mine

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's one hell of a neutrophil, though.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well fuck, now I want chex mix.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yessss lab representation

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Number spoofing where scammers fake the system to call someone using your phone number. Then when they try to call back, they get you.

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Where was the threat? How is a picture of cells a thread? Maybe the COVID fever fried Karen’s brain lol

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The cops chiseled face was stern, his jawline tense like it was gonna snap. He took a long drag off his cigarette, a misty 120 with no sense

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

of irony. He doused his cigarette in his coffee then promptly drank it down. He stared at the suspect and told him in a voice straight from

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

hell, tobacco lodged in his teeth. "You're going to tell me about the check mix and we can do it the hard way or the easy way".

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

? I have no doubt that's how she's picturing my interrogation.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

"Who are you?" "Busy.." *continues texting him relentlessly* ...at this point we know exactly who the asshole is.

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 3

Yikes the Karen's have been stuck inside Soo long they're randomly texting numbers in hopes of getting a manager to speak with...

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Someone messaged me randomly and then threatened to report me to the police when I trolled them. Why do people think police are gonna care?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That is one fine rubber duck collection

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This reads like two entirely different conversations mashed together.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I have never wanted chex mix more than this very minute

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"I'm calling the police" ????

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

This is real too. Holy shit.

6 years ago | Likes 312 Dislikes 2

Random person called me day ago, threatened me, and said lose their number. Out of the blue, I had no clue what was happening. Crazy

6 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 0

I guess not so busy then.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Last year in a restaurant a Karen (power haircut, clothing, bigoted ignorant attitude, everything) reduced two members of staff in tears >

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

>Staff hugging each other when she left. Made huge scene, nothing was good enough, asked for manager of universe 10 times, refused to pay >

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

>Had no clue there was a name for this at the time and the name was “Karening”.Felt very sorry for staff and comforted them.It was fucked up

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Did the manager ban her ass?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No don’t think they can do that. She upset the whole floor, ruined our dinner. She had a teenage daughter and her boyfriend and also >

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

>had a go at her for not paying for her own meal out of her own pocket! Then kept shouting at waiter that she had a relative in hospital >

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy crap. I know they're literally called polymorphonuclear cells, yet it always surprises me just how ridiculous neutrophil nuclei look

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This one is special too. Centrally radiating hypersegmentation. Called a botryoid neut, it's a sign of heat stroke.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thank you! Because first thing I thought was that it wasn't a neutrophil..but it is...never seen that before!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I did think it seemed weird.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hello fellow Lab Tech. I also work in hematology.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Me too. Hello. Sorry I’m late!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hello fellow lab peeps. Not a lab tech yet, but I will be in July

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hello fellow lab rat. I love the bear.?

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A bald lab tech, I too am a bald lab tech. Hi, I hope you had a good lab week this year.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hello fellow bald lab guy. Yeah our lab week was kinda scant with covid validations getting geared up. Better next year maybe.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm a long haired lab tech, bald would be easier at the scope.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bald lab techs are the best

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My guess is that some scammer placed a call to the first person spoofing the second person's number, so they're just following caller ID.

6 years ago | Likes 941 Dislikes 2

You have no idea how often I need to explain to customers that we didn't call them, scammers spoofed our number, illegal, but easy to do.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You don't say

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

NOW it all ...well now the bad caller I’d makes sense, everything after that....

6 years ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 1

Yep. I hate this. Get calls all the time asking why I called. I didn’t.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That or Meth. Lots of Meth

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yup. Had a similar, less idiotic encounter... More along the lines of... Who is this, not anyone you know. Spammer? Yup...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks Sherlock.

6 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 17

Haha, yeah. I've learned that it's best not to overestimate people's awareness on this sort of stuff. Hopefully someone will learn something

6 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

I mean...you still got an upvote from me!

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 4

yeah. some idiot called my mom screaming at her to stop calling his wife. her number had been spoofed. it was pretty common for a bit>

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

numbers with the same middle 3 (on cellphones) say 921 (fake ofc) would get spoofed spam calls from phones with the same middle 3

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I got a super angry call from a lady who claimed I called her phone and talked to her autistic toddler. She was SUPER PISSED

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

and could not comprehend what happened, and would not stop trying to bother me about it, then accused me of being rude for not wanting to...

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

continue a BS conversation with an angry, rude person who seemed to think she was the cops.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My friend called me to inform me that I had just called him but when he answered it was a robocall.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I’ve gotten calls from people RAGING that I stop calling them.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Had this happen a couple of times to me. Had to explain to them that people can spoof phone numbers and there's nothing we can do.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They weren't happy about it but understood and we both went on with our lives.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This happens to my dad all the time. He calls the number to tell them know he got a scam call using the phone number. Tells how to report it

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Def a number masking scam. My rule, if I dont recognize the number, I dont answer, unless I am expecting a call.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I have also gotten a call from Florida number, and the mask doesnt go through till it goes to VM.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My Pixel has call screening, which I thought was a fun novelty at first but have been using it more than I like.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It is fantastic!!! I love it!!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've had this happen to me: my number was faked by scammers for the caller ID. I got a lot of rough phone calls one evening, so bad in 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 105 Dislikes 0

fact I had to fill out police reports against a couple of the callers. I know you mad, but threatening to rape and burn my children alive...

6 years ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 0

People get way too touchy about their phone getting called. Got yelled at by someone because of an incorrect #

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jfc...

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I had a 'nice' older woman call me after someone spoofed my #. At first she was nice & reasonable but she could not grasp that I had nothing

6 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 0

to do with the calls. She'd call me back every few days and got progressively more irate with ME. Started saying that *I* should be doing

6 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 0

something to stop them from doing it. I felt bad for her at first but then blocked her #. You can't help everyone.

6 years ago | Likes 71 Dislikes 0

I've gotten called by scammers from my OWN NUMBER. Kinda hard to see that as anything else.

6 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Yep, same. Briefly very confused, then amused.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same. I saw it and thought, "if I pick it, this will definitely become the start of a horror movie"

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

That is a weird way to describe the current late-stage capitalism thing going on, but I can follow.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 6

A horror movie within a horror movie, if you will.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Fun detected. Directive: make it political, ruin everyone's fun! I'm more important! Listen to my opinions!

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

Police: “I’m sorry ma’am,” *snickers “did you say chex mix?”

6 years ago | Likes 1766 Dislikes 4

v

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

YES, YES ! It was a chex text

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So you've seen this alleged chex mix? How uhhh...how delicious would you say it looked?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Lol'd

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chex mix, you're the snack for me ?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"We'll need to confiscate that chex mix. As evidence."

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"TallyWackers".

“Let me speak to your manager!”

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

"Ummm, ma'am? We're going to need screenshots of that conversation." Goes into backroom and people start laughing their asses off.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

“And a picture of a disease!! A disease for mosquitoes.”

6 years ago | Likes 186 Dislikes 0

“Listen ma’am I don’t really think sending pictures of cells is a threat”

6 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 1

British sending mi6 ftw.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But the screen is a hard surface and you can get viruses and bacteria from hard surfaces!

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

If you send it over 5G ;)

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Only a Karen wouldn't know what a ghosted number is.

6 years ago | Likes 1282 Dislikes 17

Plenty of people don't know you can spoof numbers.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Work in cellular: can confirm. Karen doesn’t get it.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Phishing

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Am I a Karen? 'Cause I don't know what a ghosted number is...I guess that's past being too afraid to ask.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

They meant spoofed. Someone calls /w a fake caller ID that says it’s your number but it isn’t. They call it back or report it. Wrong person.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Thank you!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got a lady screaming at me to stop phoning her once. I tried to explain that they spoofed my number, but she wasn't listening. 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Happy ending though, 15 minutes later she called back and apologized. She must have looked it up. 2/2

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I had the same thing happen but mine didn’t apologize. They sent me a snarling wolf pic though.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You seem to be a Karen. That’s called spoofing.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I actually just learned recently in a similar initial text to me. But then we just had a short conversation bitching about scammers.

6 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

How have you people never gotten spam calls from a spoofed number? I get them daily. Always very very similar to my number?.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

How do you know they're spoofed numbers??

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought my first cell phone just two years ago, I didn't know all the scammer tricks until recentky.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So is it they mascaraed as your number and call someone?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yea, that's what I didnt understand at first.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not gonna lie, it took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize that you meant "masquerade" when you wrote "mascaraed."

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Thank you

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Interesting. Autocorrect suggested it and I just went with it.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I guess it's recognized as the past-tense version of using "mascara" as a verb.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Who the fuck loves Chihuahuas? They're the worst dogs

6 years ago | Likes 725 Dislikes 35

Karen. Karen likes chihuahuas.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

You need to get 20 of them and train them to attack in mass, like a school of piranhas.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Amen.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

A Karen would

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Karens

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

They're so cute though! :D https://media0.giphy.com/media/ZCOnwSVWybkJ2/source.gif

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I can see why people get the notion. However the 3 Chihuahuas my family has owned are more or less chill, they bark at passing traffic-

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Those are dogs?

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

I thought they were a type of rodent...

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They really are

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

My longhaired is rather tame. Rarely barks at anything and is curious as hell.

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I want a longhaired one so bad! I have a tri colored smooth coat. Love him to pieces

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Clearly you've never owned a Deutch ballen chompzer

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Don't ever speak of my mother like that again

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

From age 5-16 my neighbour had 15-20 chihuahua at a time. Gross and angry fuckers. Have a small dog phobia now.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

She didn’t say she LOVES them. Only that she has them.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love my chihuahua. He’s nearly 15, loves everyone, and hams for pictures. All dogs are good dogs, adjust your attitude.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Here he is hiking, because he’s a dog, like other dogs.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A friend of mine has a couple Chihuahuas and can't help but like those nervous, shivery little fuckers.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I disagree. All dogs are good dogs, there are only bad owners. It just so happens that a lot of shitheads own Chihuahuas.

6 years ago | Likes 124 Dislikes 13

No dog is the worst dog

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All dogs are good dogs, but on a rating of good to great to fantastic, chihuahuas are only good.

6 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 5

As a shithead.... I have cats

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I understand your sentiment and I agree that all dogs are good dogs. There is a reality in training dogs though and it's that some

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Are very easy to train as they are eager to please and follow direction, and there are dogs that are difficult to train. A border collie

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Can learn a command with just 1 or sometimes 2 reiterations. The American Staffordshire requires up to 60 reiterations. The chihuahua on

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

The other hand needs over 100 attempts to learn a command. Yes they are good dogs. They just require an extremely consistent example.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I thought this, but then I accidentally got a chihuahua. All my other dogs were immaculately trained. This thing doesn't care what you say

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 5

My chihuahua can sneeze on command and twirl around and dance. He’s kind of an asshole to other dogs though.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Mine's got a mohawk and a personality like a punk 12 year old. Her best trick is not shutting up when you say "tell me your problems"

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How can an owner make the dog not afraid of its shadow?

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

Can't be afraid of it's shadow if it's not alive...jk jk

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wish my chihuahua was scared of his shadow. He’s not scared of anything, even giant ass aggressive dogs who could eat him for lunch.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Illuminate your home with indirect lighting.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Chihuahua problems, modern solutions

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Even if they're "the worst dogs," at least they're not cats.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

You need a better recipe.

6 years ago | Likes 188 Dislikes 2

The secret is to marinate them in buttermilk overnight.

6 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Do you serve it with chihuahua cheese?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Instructions unclear. It keeps wiggling and knocking the bowl over.

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

You might need to use a meat tenderizer

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

All this shit right here is why I use imgur. Blessings to all in this thread.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 6

Cousin owned a chihuahua, much sweeter disposition than her other dog. Yapped but not frequent. Sadly disappeared one morning. likely an owl

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

i used to think the same, but my gf has so e very lively tempered ones, they get nervous around strangers but they aren't little demons, 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 2

more like little snuggle buddies. that being said, every other chihuahua ive never known was a mean little bugger 2/2

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 2

They're just annoying little fucking shit rats with a napoleon complex that shake more than Michael J fox holding maracas.

6 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 21

That’s a very specific insult but it totally checks out.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

6 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 8

Thank you!I also have a Chi and he’s awesome.Doesn’t shake or bite people, even ignores other dogs. Takes a few to let ppl pet him, thats it
