George Hawley, you're a rascal.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I’ll say it. Wawa hoagies suck now they don’t use Amarosa rolls. Also their prices are getting too high now. Hot dogs are legit.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Moved to New Jersey a couple years ago. GF raves about how good Wawa is. I still haven't even been to one.

Wawa is by far the best thing about philly.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Wawa, the only place where people will go out of their way to hold the door for ya but try and kill you getting out of the parking lot

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Spit on me.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

As a Wawa overnighter, photo bombing people like you is what we live for.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Loved their customization on their food items. Also always very clean.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Best. Sandwiches. Ever. (After a night of drinking in College Park)

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They've got surprisingly-good food. Hope to get some in Texas soon!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Bruh you got buc-ee’s... you are tempting fate with losing your Texas citizenship.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Across the bridge in NJ too for a few miles

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I grew up around sheetz. Thought gas station food sucked......till I went to a Wawa.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or Hawaii. Actually there are better reasons to live in Hawaii.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I work at one overnight as the manager. Can cofirm. Just as awesome as being a customer

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

which one? i worked at one years ago and we had a guy who worked overnight and basically just cut onions for eight hours.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I live in SJ about an hour from Philly

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So What's The Deal With Royal farms coming into town

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, they’ve got chicken. But they’ve got nothing on wawa.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I never would have expected so much enthusiasm for gas station chicken

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hogiefest!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are in Florida also

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Yup. 3 in Jacksonville. I dont understand the fuss theyre just fancy gas stations.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In and around Utah there are Maverik stations, QT quiktrip in the mid west, Kum & Go in Iowa and west to Wyoming and Colorado. All the same

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And Sheetz in Pennsylvania

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm a Canadian, My fiancee is a Floridian. I have confirmed that Wawa's is the Tim Hortons of the Eastern States. Those 24 oz. Iced Capps...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're all over south and Central NJ. (I work at one) AMA

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sometimes when i wake up and pee my stream splits 4 different ways, ehy is that?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry i didnt get a notification of your response. Peehole sticking shut.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lived in Philly for fout years, outside of the area it's just not the same.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Born and raised in philly. Moved to Florida last year, it’s totally not the same :(

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Agreed! I live in Philly and the surrounding area all of my life. Moved to FL a year ago, I'm glad Wawa is here but it's just not the same.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lived in Philly for 4.5 years. Miss Wawa terribly.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Lived there the first 22 years of my life, been in Missouri the past 3 years and bet your ass when my plane lands i stop at a wawa for(1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

a hoagie on the way to my parents house everytime. Theres hope though i saw a few in florida this summer, its spreading. (2/2)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What's the appeal of them? I assumed they were just Philly specific 7-11s

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They line a lot of the east coast. also they are the best

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

everyone will have their own opinion of why they rock but for me it starts with the people they hire. I've never seen one in a bad mood.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

two, the quality of the food they server is always the best (they make Hoagies sandwiches and other items)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

three they have an appropriate application of innovation. example: touch menus for ordering food, web apps, etc.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But that enhances between the customer and the staff, not replace it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*New Jersey

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 7

spent the summer of '96 working at the Wawa in North Wildwood NJ. great memories..

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hats off to you. Worked two summers in wildwood, commute that was 40 mins turned into 3 hours each way.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wawa every couple miles baby

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But it's Jersey

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're right, there's plenty of other good reasons to live near Philly. NJ needs whatever it can get.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah like we can boast that we are close to NYC so no one would have to step foot in Philly

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah yes, the Jersey Turnpike. So good, they named a shot after it!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least we have a shot named after something here

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My first thought was of Wawa, Ontario. And how the weather was way off. Lol

8 years ago | Likes 187 Dislikes 1

Man I love Wawa

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ditto. Was expecting a giant goose statue to pop on up.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought this!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same lol

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Been there.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lol Same

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Best place to get cheese buns.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One time I drove from Barrie to cold lake and lost my wallet in Wawa. I found it under the seat in my car.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ew sick gross air force. (Ex army outta edmonton)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can’t even disagree

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

NOBODY, gets excited about Wawa, Ontario.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

A place so nice they named it twice!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Schreiber local here

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's what I thought... It even has the goose in the logo..

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

It's because "Wawa" means goose :D probably Ojibwe

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The town i try to not stop in. But the one I'm looking forward to. The only area of cell service between ste marie and terrace bay.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Always stop at that timmies

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a PITA for big rigs. They should put a tims up across the airport.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Any tips on places to sleep around Wawa? Planning on driving across Canada and getting out of Ontario is the longest portion!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never stayed in wawa, always just stopped at the timmies before heading the rest of the way for the day

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The White River Motel is nice is you need to stop.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

There's a great campground called Pancake Bay about an hour towards Sault She Marie. Gorgeous.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks looks really nice!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's hugely popular in July and August. Great shallow clear water. Has showers too! Reserve a spot prior to going!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't bother. You can easily do the drive from Sault Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay in a day.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

So better to stay in the sault than trying to get closer to thunder bay? It's about 8hrs to sault ste Marie from where I am

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly! From where you are to the Soo, then to Thunder Bay, then to Winnipeg and away you go!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Makes sense! Thanks so much for the advice

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

sault to t bay = 8 hours

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's another Wawa???

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There is! There's a giant statue of a goose too! We also have Petawawa O.o

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wait.. both wawa's have giant goose statues? What? Also fuck pet. Worst three months of my enlisted time.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You're just mad they got rid of the only strip club in Pembroke.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m actually from Petawawa

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a kid, my family cottaged across the river from cfb pet. We'd watch the parachute training, get woken up by cannons. Great place.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You mean the parachute training where they one time had 30 people shatter their ankles on a night jump?
