Correct, because immigration court is a weird spot legally. Theu are supposed to act independently, but because they are a part of the Executive and not the Judiciary, well .... You see how Trump wields that power and now he can basically set immigration law and policy by blackmailing judges with their careers. And yes, immigration judges were typically trained judges in that area of law, but again..... We see how Trump abused everything.

I don't know... Some states were passing anti-trans laws before whatever happened in January of 2025, when they started to really crack down on immigrants. Not only are they already coming for trans, arguably they started before coming after immigrants.
