@OP if you're running an energy deck you may want to look at Architect of the untamed and you definitely want Aetherhubs :D

Honestly imo the Nissa you have to pull is the best Nissa I've seen yet. Put it is to each their own opinion and play style

Notes? I usually go with building a ~100 card deck around a general theme or strategy and keep slimming it down as I play til I hit 60.

I see it more of a mana ramp card or a comander card. I'd only play 2 of in standard and in comander I would play when I have loads of mana

From what I've seen and been told, creatures are more powerful now and spell in the older sets were better than todays

Not a fair comparison. Compare blocks or sets. Urza's to anything today. Planeswalkers really upped power creep.

Find some online building sites and take ideas and twist them into your own. It helped me understand how to build decks and make my own
