How i felt when they first came out

I haven't played the Bioshock Infinite DLCs, but someone told me they round out the story linking it all back. Can anyone confirm?

By far my favorite game of all time is Bioshock 1. What other game can you throw bees at superhuman drug addicts?

Bioshock 2.

I adore BioShock. The first is a masterpiece, and damn near perfect in my book. Loved Infinite as well, confusing as it was, initially.

My hands-down favorite game world/setting of all time

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Still my favorite videogame setting, with FFVIII's Balamb trailing as a VERY, VERY close second.

I should stop playing so much Dying Light and start playing this instead

If you haven't played bioshock and love a good game with a story. Get the fuck up and buy yourself a copy!

Just started playing the first and it's become an obsession real quick.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dude the original Bioshock is my favorite game of all time. That game is a masterpiece. "A man chooses, a slave obeys."

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

No. No. Don't you fucking dare drag me back

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Too late... I saw this and started downloading them again.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Man, I need to back and play these again.

I still need to finish Infinite. I know the end is neat.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I still have a ps3. Now, with out the fan boyNess that we all get with our favorite games, should I pick then up?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I finished Burial at Sea a week ago and I'm halfway or so to 1999 mode completion in the main story.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Burial at sea was awesome

They're getting a current gen remaster later this year. Praise it.

If you're lying I'm gonna hunt you down and cut off your ears, but if you're not I'll send you a cute avacado.

Maybe it was just me but I thought bioshock infinite was repetitive and I got bored of it fast. The storyline was alright.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 8

story wise they were ok but the gameplay was just child friendly system shock.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

It felt really different from the earlier games, but I still loved the characters and the story enough to keep me playing.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Kinda generic 1st person shooter

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I will always think that infinite was called bioshock mostly for marketing. The whole vibe from the first 2 games wasn't there.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

You also have to consider the game went through a lot of retooling during development

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i don't like bioshock infinite compared to the other games

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 7

It was very different, and from what I can tell it was very confusing. The other games were sort of an fps/horror storybase game.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Am I the only one who completely understood the Bioshock timeline initially? It's really not that hard to grasp, people.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

IMO Infinite was much more bland and boring, especially after the first gameplay teaser promised much more. The story wasn't that great tbh

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You're not alone.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One and Infinite are incredible. Two is... well it's there. It's certainly not the worst thing I've ever played but it's not remarkable.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Bioshock 2 is actually most peoples favorite Bioshock

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey if it's your favorite or your friends, then cool. But it's easily proven metrically it's not "most people's" favorite.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you're more than welcome to prove metrically

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really? Bioshock 1-2 are my favorite. I'm still playing Infinite but it's fun. It just seems like a generic 1st person shooter to me

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Personally I think in general Infinite is a better game than any of them, but it lacks the "Would you Kindly" impact of the first. 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be fair though, it's hard to find ANY other games that have the kind of resonating impact Bioshock much less in the rest of the series.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fair enough
