9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But how do you do it without putting holes in the paper?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Tape, neodymium magnets...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like they used tape in this gif.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

heavy magnets?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Place your perspective points off the edge of the paper, then use pushpins or whatever

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Curious as well. Maybe this is just to learn and practice?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I have no idea what kind of witchcraft is going on here, but I like it.

NAILED IT! Digging down deep to get to the bottom to stay on top!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

took quite a bit of googling, but I figured out what was going on after hours of manual research

I WENT THROUGH 5 FUCKING YEARS OF ART SCHOOL AND NEVER THOUGHT OF DOING THIS. GOD DAMN IT

9 years ago | Likes 699 Dislikes 3

good job on getting that extra year in there ;)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I went to art school and they taught us to do this? Tho it was with string.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know that feel... Except I never went to art school... So... No I don't. But the struggle is still real

9 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 1

You think you're disappointed? Imagine how your parents feel.

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 3

Ouch. We're gonna need a gallon of aloe vera.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This is something you learn in architectural courses...

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

I was going to say, this seems like more of an engineering/architect solution.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Got any art to show?

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You think you feel bad? My brother went to the Art Institute (HUUUGE mistake) and got a job starting at a little over $10. There is a 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

What if he likes what he does why would the pay matter if you chose to do something because of your intrest in it

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Because food and rent and why am I having to explain this??????

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

But i mean he has a choice in the job he takes with the factor of surviving on it

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

So uhhh...what's the rubber band for

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

rubber band is a cheat for the horizon/line of sight http://thevirtualinstructor.com/twopointperspective.html

couldn't tell if question was sarcastic or not and can't tell if reply is either

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

+1 Because I'm sure someone somewhere could actually use this.

9 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 3

Yep, right here.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm one of them. =]

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Idk man that line quality is atrocious. And its better to learn how to do this without any aid. This a crutch that will just hurt growth imo

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Architecturally, this wouldn't work as well for scaled drawings, because he doesn't have an established True Height Line.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I appreciate your take on this, I'm not an artist of any kind myself, I was just trying to be helpful. Thank you for pointing that out. :)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You're welcome :)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

To add to this... the rubber band is just going to smudge alot, especially if you start to do any shading with it!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yeah, which is important!
