#30 Look, man, he quite possibly survived the fall. It's the fact that he fell onto a major highway during rush hour traffic that killed him.

#4 Considering that bending requires different movement and stances that seem to stem from your body, for example earth bending taking power from your physical stance which affects how well you can move the earth. I would hypothesize that you couldn't lift yourself with water from bending any more than you could lift yourself with your own hands from the ground. Bending has to follow some sort of physical rules. Except air bending. Air bending doesn't give a fuck.

So many good memes... so relative to me... I feel seen!

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#31 Follow up owl fact: Owls have tubular eyes, and they have to rotate their heads to look around because it would be physically impossible for them to have sufficient musculature to move eyes that big in their tiny little heads

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#3 No, no, can’t be. Hat’s different.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

True, also one runs the shop, one the docks and so on... They clearly have different lives and personalities.

#31 Seeing under this Owl's dress makes me uncomfortable. Did the owl give consent?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's for science!

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#20 I've seen this meme used by some truly heinous people as an excuse to just be violent. Never sits well with me.

#20 this meme just reframed my high aggressive tendencies into something positive. Damn am I peaceful. That was the main reason I divorced my husband after years of him gaslighting me. I wanted to stay peaceful. I did. But it was close. Thank you @OP

#7 What about xenomorphs?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Xenomorphs are absolute queens and don't need any diets.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#19 Yep. Survive. Get to another day where you get to smile. It'll happen. And the assholes out there *hate* that. :)

1 year ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

"Be happy, the assholes hate it!" is surprisingly inspiring in a spiteful way.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I have a coworker who is an asshole, and we fight all the time, and it makes him so angry when I get acknowledged by management for doing a good job, and honestly, making him unhappy is more of a motivator for me than getting praised for doing good work.

#29 Look, it's an unwritten rule of gaming that, unless the game specifically gives you a carry limit, any bag, pocket or body cavity you store your various bits, bobs, and plunder in is functionally a bag of holding; you're carrying a portal to an extradimensional space around with you of COURSE the weight of things you put in it doesn't affect you.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This is why I'd make a bad DM. "Okay, you've made it about thirty miles towards the neighboring kingdom, the sun is setting and you're probably pretty hungry and thirsty by now. What did you bring for food and water?"

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd consider that general knowledge the characters would have, even if it the players don't consider it. Anyone traveling non-magically in a typical D&D style setting would know to bring adequate provisions, I'd probably only touch on it if they were doing a longer term expedition, or if someone wanted to lean into the roleplay of being the cook, you know, buying better ingredients and stuff. Plus, at a pinch, there's goodberries and create food and water (yymv depending on system & vibe)

#28 Because they're not. Most of them aren't based on anything even remotely accurate. Milk is one of the few that's at least somewhat accurate.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

TBF, most of them are either "Sell By" dates or "Best By" dates, which is an indicator of freshness, and just means it tastes the best before those dates. The only real exception is perishable food (which still usually has a "Sell By", and not "Use By" date).

Most canned or boxed food is full of preservatives, so the most you usually have to worry about is whether it tastes stale. And frozen food get freezer burned if left frozen too long, which, AFAICT mainly makes it taste bad.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Exactly. It's less: "at this exact time and date it will instantly spoil" and more: "we're pretty sure it won't go bad before this date"

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some aren't even based on an assumption, they're just made up entirely.

#1 I’s when you are out partying in inland Florida and then black out followed by being abruptly woken up in the middle of the night in a motel6 room covered in warm beer and then go back to sleep all discombobulated and slightly perturbed by your blurry experience only to wake back up with pink eye(s) in Alabama… upvote if you want me to continue my pamphlet noir!

#14 We're not Post-Apocalyptic, To be Post-Apocalyptic, we'd have to be *after* said apocalypse. We're still Mid-Apocalyptic, in a very mid apocalypse.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know where you live, but I'm 100% living in a native american post-apocalypse.

For some reason I can't get into Hazbin Hotel, but I love Helluva Boss so much and this is my favorite character by far.

1 year ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

It's the music

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hazbin hotel was orgiginally going to be as fucking wild as helluvaboss, but when it was picked up by amazon it needed to appeal to a larger audience. Hellovaboss, however, was not really made for profit. It was a passion project, and that shows by how unhinged and over the top it it. Too many shows(and games) pass through a "profitability" filter these days that it shows. So if i had to guess, thats what you are picking up on.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I'm the reverse, just tried HBoss for 2 or 3 episodes and I felt like I was watching Skibidi Toilet in cartoon form
