I was allergic to cats when I was younger but always loved them and got one anyways, eventually my cat allergy went away on its own

My ex’s father’s brother said he had multiple pollen etc allergies. He moved to the forest. As in his house is literally in the middle of a forest. He said his allergies went away as well.

He’s an insufferable know-it-all though, so I don’t know how true that is.

I take a Zyrtec & Benadryl because I am allergic to cats & have 1, got her for my ex, get a second cat for her to play with. He became my cat so when she left she took my cat, because hers was to much of an "old lady" she is a happy 18 now.

How well does that work for you, if you don’t mind my asking? I love cats so much but am rather allergic, I’ve trying to decide if I’d just be setting myself up to be low key uncomfortably sniffly / itching my eyes all the time

Depends on the severity of the allergy. Im allergic, but just sneeze, itchy eyes, congestion, or itchy skin… allergy meds give me unpleasant side effects so i just live with the congestion, it seems to go down the more time i spend with my cats, but have to avoid activities like brushing them or take meds/wear mask or gloves to do so. Other people have it worse and they eyes change firmness from the allergy or break out in a rash, not recommended.

I can't tell if this is a joke or not. You ever wonder why lots of plastic bags plainly state to not do this? I have no reason to think that there isn't another young kid out there who saw this video and doesn't understand why this is a very bad idea.
