As a little FYI, the gun was never designed to be fired on the scooter. They came as pairs to carry the mount, ammo, and gun.

For the record, the RR didnt fire while it was on the scooter. The vespa was a means of transportation for quick deployment.

Fun fact! “Recoilless” rifles, aren’t. There is still recoil, however, it is “less” than if the breech tried to contain the entire blast 1/2

They’re artillery/anti-tank, so 57mm, 75mm, and 105mm would be baseline. The one in the pic says 3 in; that’s 88mm, give or take.
