I had one for a CD player back in the day and it worked like a charm, so that probably works like a charm too.

They made these before with an AUX cord coming out of the cassette. My guess is they just wire in a bluetooth chip instead. Seems easy.

The cassette tape connects to your phones Bluetooth and plays it through the cassette deck
What’s the wire for then? Not being sassy, just genuinely curious
It’s for charging it, I believe the charging port faces the outside of the deck, so you can charge and use as well

It likely needs to charge. I doubt they're smart enough to run it off the tape spindle.
