If the bullet frags get thrown out, it'll be a real pain in the neck for the prosecution.

Conservative ACTIVIST? lmao, he was a racist cunt, being an 'activist' for racism, sexism, and nazis, makes you a stupid cunt. Who TF cares about that dumbass bitch and his whore wife?

1 week ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I believe he did it, but it would be totally apropos of this administration that tried so hard to make this an anti-trans inflection point to have fucked up the evidence gathering.

I can't say that I condone vigilante justice, but I also can't deny that this guy's actions were a massive net positive for the world. He is no hero, but I won't lose sleep over him getting acquitted on a technicality of FBI/ATF stupidity.

The site of the shooting is about a five minute walk from my office. I think it's all blocke off now, with those solar hobo-alert things in place.

Candace Owens about to have a field day with this one

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The (alleged) shooter is also a shitty person and I don't condone his (alleged) actions, but I still kinda hope he gets off due to poor evidence gathering.

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You know full well Robinson did it lmao. Talking about some "alleged" You definitely support Robinson and his actions don't try to lie to us. Makes no sense to not condone his actions but hope he gets no punishment from doing said actions.

Having already seen Kathryn Nester’s work as defense counsel in the Kouri Richins case, I’m more inclined to believe this is a wild flailing attempt to get anything to stick than actual real evidence.

Death penalty?? That's absurd

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is a conspiracy theory that the killing was an accident. It states that it was supposed to have been a "near miss," similar to what happened to Trump, but that instead of directly impacting the vest and having him "miraculously survive," it killed him in a freak accident. Evidence often cited is that all of the funeral events were celebratory, filled with fireworks and sparkles, and happy: Because they were meant to be a celebration, and there was no time to change it all. Fun!

"Bullet doesn't match rifle" is a bad headline for "unable to get a clean match from a bullet fragment" they didn't rule anything out, just said the test was inconclusive

I wouldn't be remotely surprised the turnip was behind it, since Kirk was calling for release of the Epstein files.

Does it really matter?

Didn't Tyler Robinson actually confess to committing Charlie Kirk's murder?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

The confession written by a romance novelist...?

1 week ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

some other dude confessed before tyler did

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Confessions don't mean that much, since cops will use any and all options they have to get someone to confess. There are many, many documented cases of cops getting a confession from innocent people just because the people couldn't stand being questioned for hours on end without any breaks, food, or water. I also wouldn't put it past the current FBI that they just straight up lied about it or forged it themselves.

I mean, I imagine it would mean a whole lot in a criminal trial, no?

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I didn't downvote you, because that's a reasonable question, but no, not necessarily. It is very often possible to get coerced confessions thrown out as evidence. As they should be, because they are not legitimate.

Bullet ballistics are largely bullshit, just like other Hollywood techniques. Come out to our camp and shoot any of my guns you choose. The marks on the shells won't match, fired from the same weapon! Recovered bullets are even more useless. If they're saying it's a VERY different bullet than that bolt-action fires, that's a different story.

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

They aren't saying it's a .223 or .458, it is a .30, but it's too fragmented to be *conclusively* linked to the rifle…which as you said is pretty much normal for ballistic analysis.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Do you mean forensic ballistics in particular? I feel like calling ballistics bullshit is pretty wild given that ballistics just means... bullet math, basically

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Thank you! Of course I meant ballistic forensics. I don't think anyone is dumb enough to argue physics doesn't apply to bullets.

it is insane that there is the possibility of an UNRELATED rifle just being hidden nearby but if it happened wow, they wasted their time and the real killer got away with it lmao

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Highly unlikely. Note the phrasing that they can't prove a link, that does not mean the bullet wasn't fired from that rifle, it only means that specific fragment can not be used to make that call. It's entirely possible the fragment recovered was from a part of the bullet that didn't touch the barrel itself, like near the tip, thus can't have those markings they need. Similarly it could have been deformed enough to be unable to tell whether the scratches are from the barrel or Kirk's neck bones.

i'm just musing that they're trying to raise doubt

idk if he's even that. i know a lot of people were claiming he killed kirk because he felt kirk wasn't maga enough or some shit, but he literally said he killed kirk because he was tired of the kind of hatred kirk was espousing

Fair fair

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why are we doing this? Erika Kirk forgave him. Send the boy home. Quit fucking with him.

1 week ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

Because that's not how the law works? You don't get to forgive someone for murder because they were your spouse, it's still murder.

Mussolini had children, Mao Zedong had children, Stalin had children, etc. Just because you can or did *have* children, does not automatically mean you were a bad parent and also arent a terrible human being at the same time

Considering how many offspring are created purely accidentally and unintentionally, applying any virtue to it at all is absurd.

As a reminder: bullet fragments are virtually impossible to conclusively link to the weapon that fired them. At best you can get a general idea of the caliber. The Dark Knight and other media that show destroyed bullets being reconstructed to provide viable data are lying through their teeth to make you think cops are smarter than they really are. In reality proving you did a crime is very difficult if you have the means to fight it.

1 week ago | Likes 170 Dislikes 3

calling the dark knight out is kinda weird, its a superhero movie, of course batman does shit that doesnt work in real life, similar how superman can fly...

Both. Definitely both.

1 week ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

It doesnt sound like they have any conclusive evidence beyond the fragment either. The DNA is just consistent with him and not 100% his DNA? Possibly multiple DNA profiles on it? I couldn't sentence someone to die based off evidence that is only "consistant" with a person. How many other people is it "consistant" with? Plenty probably of doubt there.

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

fun fact, in many states you can't be on a jury for a death penalty case if you don't support the death penalty!

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I did not know that. I hope I dont get down voted to hell but I believe in it, it just gotta be like a serial killer & 100% certainty beyond any doubt the person is guilty. Evidence that is "consistant" with a person I'd not be able to give them that sentence. I'd be bias anyway, I don't think we really lost anything from kirk's death. Gotta weigh both life values if u wanna look at a life for a life. I'd say this kid has more promise than Kirk. I'd consider a lesser sentence, not death.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You have to be willing to support the death penalty in whatever way it is currently being sought. The idea is that, if you oppose the penalty that the prosecutor is seeking, then you cannot be an impartial juror.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that part of Dark Knight always felt really weak to me. Especially where he fires several bullets, then takes the original for comparison and he's like "Oh, the hole this one made looks the most like the other hole." Then based ONLY on that, reconstruction the bullet completely, and pulls a perfect fingerprint off of it. Fantastic overall movie, but still requires a huge suspension of disbelief.

1 week ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

well, hes motherfucken batman, he can do shit the cops cant...thats why its a superhero movie...

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Unless science is different in batman's universe, what he was shown to do is impossible, but it is Hollywood so a suspension of facts is allowable.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

bruh, science is in fact literally different in batmans universe, its a dc comics universe, superman and flash turn back time and shit but when batman takes a fingerprint its "impossible"...wtf...

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Read my logic again. Or a simple restate, if the science is different, then it is possible. The biggest problem with how the movie showed it was using the scientific method, thus not using a different system.
