#1 Hello. I did not know that I... kneaded this in my life. Thank you for introducing me to paska, and I'm excited to try making it!

Is it a pashka? I've eaten once when i was young, and it was absolutlu exquisite in my memory, but it's the only one dessert i can reproduce (all the recipe i've tried are false) : so please, please if you have a good recipe? I will be so grateful!

Thanks for this totally unique post! I love seeing how other cultures do things. These are some very beautiful pictures and some very beautifully decorated eggs! I'm gonna have to look up that cake recipe. :)

That is really neat and it makes me sad they are suffering instead of living life because Russia is a piece of shit.

When baking with raisins, I always boil them first so they plump up and don't turn into gravel in the oven. The raisin water adds flavor to the dough as well...

I see someone took the thing quite seriously.
Well done.

It's all seriously beautiful and looks tasty! Does the cake have any particular name or would googling "cottage cheese cake" suffice in finding a recipe?

Thank you! Yes, you can Google cottage cheese cake and you will find some

Is there a reason you felt the need to piss on this topic? It's about Ukranian food culture, not the belief behind the holiday.

fuckin raisins

Well, you do you, but just because you can fit inside a raisin doesn't mean to announce it on a post like this!

There's this French pastry called "pain aux raisins" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pain_aux_raisins) and it's delicious.
The only issue with raisins is one of expectation.
If you get served a cake/pastry that contains raisins where you expected something else (usually chocolate chunks), you get mighty disappointed. But there's nothing wrong with raisins themselves. They're just dried grapes and grapes are fucking delicious.

Yes, I love Oatmeal Raisin cookies, and soft especially they are my Favorite cookie. But if I was expecting a chocolate chip cookie, and it was chocolate chip cookie dough except with raisins in it instead, I would be displeased.

now aita for expecting chocolate EVERYWHERE?;)

I mean seriously every time someone buts raisins in dough they decide against chocolate. what the heck is wrong with people.
