My game unfortunately kept crashing on me after about 5 minutes of gameplay...Everytime. upsets me because for all the bugs it's a fun game.

Once saw a tweet along the lines of: "I'm going to cosplay as Lydia and stand in doorways."

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I took one look at that hallway and went, nope, and then went the other way.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I've never used the power armour in Fallout and im scared to, I don't really understand it so just brute force and grind my way through it

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Oh, motherfu--"

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is instructors fault. K9 instructor has to constantly observe dog and issue a relevant order according to situation.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

With at least 7 more pixels

6 years ago | Likes 95 Dislikes 5

So the gif has eight pixles?

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

And this is why AI modding became necessary.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dammit Lydia

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Bethesda never understood Fallout and they have never been good at programming.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Where is that? I never found it.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Finally found this level and dogmeat didn't set it off ?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dogmeat was such an annoying companion

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yep Snakemeat was better

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So many quick saves. So much time spent. All that pain just for fiber optics and meager end loot.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I mean, the Janitor's logs are worth it. I identified with that man something fierce.

Despite all the flak I loved that game.

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

is not a bad game. it's just a lackluster fallout title. the difference is very important here

So many pixels has been lost.. RIP.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can hear this post

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think I need to play this game again.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

and install some mods for it.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've never done that. Can you do it on PS4?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yes, you have the option from the main menu, but they are not as good as those for the PC but still some good stuff for console.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The whole point with dog meat is that he is suppose to be a liability, which is why he is named dog meat.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Also it's canonical that the original dog meat died to that laser door in F1, even thought one player managed to get him through it.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

you can get it out of there, but you need something like a 75 stimpack surpluss, plus the ones spent due to regualr gameplay

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want to know h0w low of a level you have to be to die that fast to like 4 turrets in Power armor.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Funny how OP you get later in the game. I feel like with the full set of Ballistic Weave including the hat and Power Armor you are invicible

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also Auto-Stim Armor and Slow time Armor.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

as someone who never played it, why can't you just toss a piece of junk in there from a safe distance and have it disable itself?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

it'd be more likley to make the game crash than have logical puzzle solving.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

You get some (somewhat rare) material from it if you disarm them.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

It's also very tight spaces, the explosion might hit you anyhow

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Spent way to much time fucking around in Jamaica plains, for very little reward.

6 years ago | Likes 164 Dislikes 1

To be fair, that was kind of the point. Like the star bottle cap quest.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Be a great quest if you could take over all of Jamaica plains

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Just like in real life

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

What pisses me off the most is the "Settlement" is dinky and offers zero salvage opportunities.

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

if you bring some scrap in, though, the roof is a good place for an artillery piece.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Artillery pieces are just junk sinks, though. By that point in the game, I never needed the fire support it offered.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

that is a very valid point, once you've got the guaranteed double shot combat rifle from the one Vault combat is a joke.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You know a game has balance issues when you find yourself intentionally gimping your build on Survival just to give it some challenge.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

What game?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Fallout4

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Also known as Fallout another settlement needs your help, The search for adhesive and screws.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is that the game with the blonde dude in the blue clothes with a ? and a ??

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

not just a synth arm, leg as well. pause at 0.07 and you see the leg

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

what is this mod and how can i get it

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What mod in particular? Armor, weapon, prosthetic, weather?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes

Weapon is, Mosin https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23258 with this animation mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31388

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can bypass that hallway. Also the loot at end is crap

6 years ago | Likes 522 Dislikes 3

You can also turn the sensors off.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The materials from the sensors ARE the loot.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What about all the crafting materials you find along the way?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are amazing historical treasures

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It was worth it for the emitters on the walls.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Grenades help

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The laser traps give a buttload of valuable resources for disarming them all, and you'll get the 2076 world series baseball bat there.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just ran through and got through before anything happened. Loots trash

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Isn't the point for easy electronics?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

loot is always crap, but you have to get it all anyway. I don't make the rules.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, that’s the joke. Hence your companions laughing at it. The actual reward is the hallway, an absurd amount of extremely useful materials

6 years ago | Likes 131 Dislikes 0

And xp for disarming traps. Something super trivial giving a decent level of xp and items is p good.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Spoken like a true scav

6 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

How dare you insult the treasures of Jamaica plain!

6 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

The hallway itself has a fuck ton of loot if you scrap each laser and turn the hallway back on to pillage them again.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Isn't that baseball bat there? The one that launches enemies to the fucking sky

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Just bugs me when 5 minutes later the same raider is running up to me cuz he didnt die for some reason

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah. I gave it to cait, love seeing her knock raiders into orbit

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

There's a switch to turn them all off tho lol

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

Turning them off won't get you the sweet crafting supplies, though

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Crystal for days. I always run down there early game to get them so I don't have any holdups flooding all the new settlements with towers

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The loot being crap is kind of the entire point...

6 years ago | Likes 209 Dislikes 1

The joke is the game is crap.

6 years ago | Likes 84 Dislikes 84

Why would you say something so controversial yet so brave?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

idk I'm on my second play through currently and I'm loving it.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I don’t think this was 76.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The joke is the game.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 12

Can't really argue there. Strip away the Minecraft-lite Settlement building and you've got a soulless Looter-Shooter in an empty worldspace

6 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 7

I play fallout for the lore i enjoyed it and honestly unpopular opinion but new vegas is overhyped to fuck its good not amazing

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The settlement building wasn't even that great and honestly not a great fit for the game. It's 200 years after the bombs, for Christ's sake

6 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Bethesda's got a weird accounting of time. 76 takes place 20 years after yet has more ex-civilization then Boston 210 years after.

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

I want to know where that hallway is, I need a ton of fiber optic and those mines are great for it....

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Slightly spoilery video, that goes throught absolutly every detail of the location and related quest https://youtu.be/IO4MXFF6Dzg

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jamaica plains.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There’s a bit of a puzzle actually finding it though, along with an associated quest. Find the Treasures or something like that.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately, said quest is on a holotape next to a randomly spawned corpse.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh yea. I did a playthrough with cheats on though and just unlocked the door and walked in. If I'm not mistaken doing it the right way.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bethesda makes shity games now

6 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 10

Speaking as someone who owns Bethesda's library...it's the dogged insistence on a 20 year old engine that's really hurting them.

6 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

Even when it was new the engine was crap we just had a higher tolerance for crap. Now it's just not funny anymore.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hence my fear of ES6. They surely aren't going for a new engine...

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

They've already said they aren't. They can rebrand the thing every generation, it's still the same hardware they developed Morrowind on.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You know what? The quality has declined, starting with Skyrim (a good game, but sure as shit not Elder Scrolls!), and hitting a VERY low 1/

6 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 5

I'll say with hindsight you can see the quality start to dip with Oblivion but it wasn't bad, then Skyrim took a nosedive comparatively

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

point with F76, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they were /shitty/. Disappointing, not up to par, but still enjoyable in their way. 2/2

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

They are over hyped. If you have really low expectations they could be alright. Big name should have great games but that's not it anymore.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

quality declined after fallout 2. new vegas was great and all, but the technical issues made it nearly impossible for most people to play

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 13

"Quality declined after [game made by a different company]". Cool, cool. No doubt.

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Indeed, whats your point? doesn't matter who held the copyright, a buggy game is a buggy game.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

Nothing to do with the copyright holding. Bethesda literally DID NOT MAKE Fallout 2. So...you point is nonsense.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You said "quality declined," implying Bethesda had a high point. When was their high point in your eyes? Because it couldn't have been with/

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

god forbid you wern't on pc and couldn't use mods or the console to fix their game. Bethesda actually wanted NV to fail intentionally giving

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

obsidian like a year and half and no budget.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Ironically, I feel like Fallout 3 was the best sequel to the original Fallout we've ever gotten. New Vegas is a game developed in 18 months-

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

love how you just reworded my comment, got upvoted for it and i got downvoted...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

-and it shows. It lifted most of Interplay's Fallout 3 story beats almost verbatim.
