I got one 12 months ago, all but 1 day cramping and bleeding so far. would not recommend it unless she had kids and have light periods.

Iuds don't use anything other than copper, atleast they used to, to deture sperm, so no hormones, that would be natural sex drive.

It can, but BE PATIENT! The post pill effects can last long as a couple of years, so just try to have a healthy life, things will improve!

I would recommend the non hormonal iud over the pill any day. Sex drive is finally normal again. Heavier period for me but it's worth it.

Well, when they place it it feel terrible, but after the 3rd day I was back to normal. The first night was terrible but then I was just 1/2

Good luck. Take a few ibuprofen (ibuprofen, not acetaminophen) before you go. Intense, but very brief experience. Recovery takes a bit.
