Same here. The only benefit I gleaned from Windows at all in the early years (pre-95 at that) was that I could still pop in to take care of a few tasks while the BBS was running.
Tbh, I’m not sure if it was 3.1 or 95 that he got, I’ve slept a couple times since then lol - not sure I could remember any dos prompts these days though lol
