MFW I accidentally almost murder a girl

So I recently went to a concert on a university campus (it was Thrice, if you're wondering, and they were amazing). On my way back to my car, I saw four college kids, two guys and two girls, approaching my car as well. It looked like they were just walking through the parking lot, so I didn't think much of it.

They reached my car at the same time I did, and they started talking in hushed voices. Not in a suspicious or menacing way, but almost like you would talk to a little animal. I wonder if they saw a cat crawl up into my wheel well, I wondered, since it was a little cold out.

"Is there a cat over there?" I asked.

"No," one of the guys said, "it's a girl." Confused, I walked around my car to see a college-aged girl passed out on the ground with her head right under my tire.

Apparently, the guys had seen her a minute or two before and saw some other girls nearby. They asked if the girls knew her, and it just so happened that they did. They walked over to her just as I got there. She was wasted, but we got her out from under the car and I waited around till they got ahold of her roommates who could take her home.

She was insanely lucky that they found her before I got there, because she was on the passenger side; I never would have seen her. I would have driven right over her head. I'm still pretty freaked out about it. She's also crazy lucky that the guys who found her were good guys, and not… less scrupulous folks.

I was pretty lucky for those reasons too.

Tl;dr: if you're going to get drunk and pass out, try not to do it under my tire.
