Amazing Horizon Zero Dawn cosplay at E3

Jun 21, 2017 10:31 AM

It's sponsored by the game and made by a big budget prop company. Those people behind it are making sure it doesn't break.

I've tried Cosplay before, it's pretty fun. But I really prefer making my own characters if I decide to get back into it.

everybody at the comic con

Literally the post before this is the exact thing

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Man...the sheer dedication to carry that around on a hot day...I can't do it...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't think this is cosplay as more a paid person by the company to promote the game though

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The money and commitment gone into this...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want it, a lot. HZD is one of my favourite games of this year.

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

By far my favorite game on the PS4.

I am right there with you. This just looks so great

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The Original post is right next top this one ATM

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Even with the exact same title?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is it still considered cosplay when it is basically a vehicle that you are wearing?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The human legs still ruin these costumes for me

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Sadly, it's impossible to fix with normal legs.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thats quitter talk... Now fix those legs somehow *waves gestures at the legs* do... things to make them right.

So Dinobot becomes a Transmetal 2!? And rejoins the Predacons under Megatron's control!? And with a piece of Ravage's spark!?

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Nothing like dropping a hundred k on cosplay.

8 years ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 8

You can buy one of the same sized dinosaur costumes for a couple thousand which looks like what he did... added the exterior pieces by hand

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

True

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Apparently no one in these comments know what sarcasm is.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 7

If the commenter over stated the value on purpose to communicate that this was a waste of money, that would make this hyperbole not sarcasim

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You really think this cost 100k?

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

I think 100k is way off. I would be very surprised if this costs over 10,000

8 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 1

Well it is an official promo show, so whoever in marketing decided to spend it on that, more power to them!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I thought this was at Sony's E3 booth

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well it's made by the people who made the game.. So not really cosplay. It was also for Ps4 commercials as I recall.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Can anyone explain why we started calling it cosplay instead of the already existing term "Dressing up"

8 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 10

Because some people have to be different from others.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

Crossdressers stole that one.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You see this? This takes dressing up to a whole new level, thus a new name

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like the British term: 'Fancy Dress'

http://kotaku.com/where-the-word-cosplay-actually-comes-from-1649177711 tl;dr Japanese word for dressing up had negative implications.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So easily amazed.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 14

Point to the part of that costume that looks easy to make.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Difficult/talented does not equal amazing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Better than being a jaded, cynical shitbag.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 5

woo, aren't you a happy camper?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Is this astonishing, astounding, stunning, staggering, or shocking? No. Well done, yes. Amazing, no.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5
