Ork Stompa

I've wanted a stompa since they first released the model, I finally picked one up and started putting it together. I've wanted to try working with plasticard for a while, and this seemed like a good project to start on. It's pretty standard from the front, I'm still deciding if I want to use the stock jaw or not. I ended up extending the shoulder armor a bit in the front. I still need to do a lot of cleanup work in regards to mold-lines and spots of glue before I get this guy primed and painted.

This was my first big attempt at using plasticard, I decided to add a few more exhaust pipes and some extra armor along the back.

I magnetized the head so it could rotate/possibly be swapped out in the future.

I magnetized the arm as well, I like the stock arm, but I'm working on a new one just so I have some more weapon options in the future.

Here's the start of the new arm as mentioned in the previous photo. The plan is to make it fully pose-able (all of the pistons can expand and contract as they move with the joints)

The end goal is to encase it in pretty heavy looking armor while still retaining its mobility and being able to see the pistons move.

The large gun on the bottom is magnetized so it can be swapped out with other weapons in the future. I'm thinking something like a big spikey fist might look pretty intimidating.

Bonus: Some boys with big shootas I put together. The tripods still need a bit of work, but I plan on making some more to use in place of the normal big shootas that come with the ork boyz set.
