I've never had a pet except a fish, and my sisters had pet rats growing up. Any tips? The cat knows me and he's a sweetheart but rly shy. Don't know much about his past, but he rly likes me :)

Feed it and water it and clean up its poop. The cat will take care of this rest pretty much.

Cats are easy pets. Clean the litter, feed them, give them something to scratch on and play with then let them do their thing. Good luck!

Cat’s are probably one of the easiest pets to take care of. They do their own thing most of the time, and they almost always come to you 1/2

Whenever they want something. And are typically smart enough to lead you to whatever it is they want.

put down the litter pan and his food and water before you take him out of the carrier. Pet him and hug him, then put his feet in the litter

so that he knows where it is, then let him explore, stay still and quiet at least at first. it may take a few days before he feels secure.
