Revolution Is In The Barrel Of A Gun

Jan 20, 2026 3:25 AM

Its funny the amount of Conservatives with their snarky," Oh, now the left likes guns." Its like, bro, they just wanted stricter gun laws to stop children from being murdered. You want guns so you can shoot people of color who didnt let you call them BOY.

#1 While I absolutely love the Black Panther Party for Self Defense, I feel like they could be doing a lot more recruiting.
Community outreach, protesting, and protecting people from ICE is important, but they have a real chance to become a national movement if they just make an effort in the right areas: Make it easy to join up. Provide resources and support for starting new chapters. And making a White Panther subgroup.
Everything's primed for them to be able to enact lasting change.

When a leader starts using “emergency” as an excuse, what follows is never about safety — it’s about staying in power. This isn’t some far‑off danger; it’s knocking on our door. Talk to your neighbors. Show up at the town halls. Protect the polls. Challenge the lies. Because when we move together, this country shifts. When we believe in each other more than we fear their chaos, their plan falls apart.

#1 I really like these guys. The government should be scared of the people, not the other way around. They're supposed to work for us, don't fucking forget that.

If history is any indication, the most effective way to convince conservative white folks that they need to have strict gun control laws is to show them a black man exercising his second amendment rights. The sight of it scares them witless.

"The mere sight of 100 thousand armed negros would end this war, and who doubts that we can produce such a number if we but grab hold in earnest". - Abraham Lincoln, either 1862 or 63 i forget.

Personally my favourite is the keynote resolution passed by "the convention of free blacks" in Poughkeepsie, New York. "Ordinary treatments such as patriotism, justice and liberty having failed to cure the patient, we hereby resolve that more extreme remedies ought be thoroughly tried and tested, in 1/

And, they may have been somewhat instrumental, the most potent weapon was voters. Definitely bring the nuance of violence, bring the voters, bring the message, but that’s all done by a great leader. That’s what brings out voters and activists.

American education likes to gloss over the "threats of violence" parts of movements like the Civil Rights movement, because without it, peaceful protest is an easily ignorable joke. Peaceful protest works not because you have inconvenienced or embarassed the people in charge, but because you provide a better option than the violent alternative.

Is this the original Black Panther Party or the New Black Panther Party (NBPP)? One fought for civil rights, one is literally an anti-Semitic/anti-White/anti-Asian/anti-Latino gang hiding under the guise and uniforms of the original Black Panther Party. One of their beliefs is that Jews caused 9/11, just to give you a taste of what NBPP is about.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

It's Black Panthers for Self Defense. Seems like a lot of their focus is on armed resistance. The OG Black Panthers also had armed resistance, but they led with community support programs and political+legal education.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Neither, it's a third group that has taken the name of the original group and at least from what I've seen is not problematic. I can't find any information on them but his Wikipedia page says that he cites the murder of George Floyd as what got him into activism so it must be pretty recent.

2 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

They seem to be in line with the civil rights movement. You could say spiritual successors I guess.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I believe in one of his videos he mentions that they have been mentored by members of the original Black Panthers and consider themselves to be the same organization reborn.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's reassuring, the original Black Panthers allied with other minorities to make their movement stronger. The NBPP alienates any other minority because they believe their race is far superior. It's literally the inverted KKK.

Nah dude, the energy you need in 2026 is kinetic - the kind used to accelerate the high-velocity, leaden, frontal lobotomies that Nazis deserve.

We could use some real citizens militias now, to help secure polling places so that the election is truly free and fair. And Democrats need to ensure there's a tight chain of custody from polling place to state election agencies. Any deviation attempted by Republicans? Blow the fucking whistle.

Every MAGA asshole voter is a shit American traitor, and every scumbag ICE bitch is a fucking coward, through and through. When I got out of the army I thought I'd never own a gun again. Yet since the middle of Biden's presidency I've bought four and have gone to the range once or twice a week. Gotta be armed, gotta stay grouped, gotta protect your own.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well that is great on SM but I am not sure the public is there yet. And also there is a chance to turn the tide on midterms without violence. Maybe I’m naive but war is literally never the answer.

The paradox of tolerance.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Many think waging war makes them their own enemy, yet history has demanded of the most loyal men and women to show and remember what they despise by executing that specific behavior.

In other words; History has asked people to show they hate war by using the means to end it. Af of now, that answer seems to be war.

Waiting is enabling, denying is enabling, retracting is enabling. If you think they will let you alone in your space, you are doing one of the above. I don't blame you, but you are

We were given this advice in 2024. In 2025, both Trump and Musk outright bragged about their role in making sure the election went the right way.
Ice is shooting people in the streets, in broad daylight.
The U.S. has kidnapped a head of state and is running their country. And we are posturing at a territory belonging to a NATO member, now.

When *everything else* does fail, you have two choices: roll over, or fight back. If you are so pacifist that you choose "roll over", then you are a

pacifist who accepts a warmonger in charge of your nation. A pacifist who accepts that federal agents are allowed to commit murder.

I, too, feel that violence is the last resort of the desperate. Well, look where we are. Everything else failed. We use the option of last resort, or we were lying about it being an option at all.

If ICE broke down your door, right now, would you go with them, or would you fight them?

Everything I’ve read, Minneapolis was a test-run for Philadelphia which is next. Republicans know that several dozen ICE agents will die in the streets in Philadelphia giving Diaper-Boy the reason he needs to declare Marshall law and cancel the midterms. They’re counting on the fact that ICE agents are too stupid to know they’re being used as patsys. To Trump they might as well be Operation Human Shield from South Park.

see, you just need to hang around communities that do that on purpose - over on Fark (ooooold internet, old school news aggregation forum), they refer to "Marshall Law" and the "Stollen" Election all the time. Gazpacho police!
