Trump wants to kill you and your kids in a pointless oil war. Did you see where he's paying a company a billion dollars to NOT build alternative energy?

I will never forgive Republicans

trump blaming the American People for his failure. The fvcking pedo-in-chief doesn't take responisbility for anything.

I believe this is exactly what America wants and voted for, mainly because it is.

It’s wild how he talks about government as a money making venture. It’s the only way he can understand things. He has no concept of public good or service.

Everything he said wasn't about making American's lives better. It's all about him.

I envy him. Like imagine being able to do and say anything and people are just like "Oh, you little scamp!" What Leprechaun did he fuck over or Genie did he get dirt on?

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Pfft, Bush at least TRIED to hide the reason for the Iraq war, this guy's not even doing that. Doesn't take a genius to figure out why we hate the war.

'*I* would make plenty of money'. Not the oil industry or the larger US economy aka the Dow, nevermind the American people. He only cares about how much he can make for himself. I bet that's how netanyadolf convinced him (aside from extorting him with the epstein files).

I mean, Venezuela happened. Same thing. I’d love to see how much Donny personally got in that deal. My favorite part of that story is they offered Maduro’s head of security $10M to turn him over and he did and then they stiffed him. So on brand. We can’t tell THAT story lol

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's saying America should be murdering people to steal their national wealth.

So if you ever wonder why people hate you enough to strap a bomb to their chest and kill themselves, just for a chance to also kill a few Americans: this is why.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He's just a crook. He's upset because when he was 7 years old, the Iranians created a democracy and told the foreign oil companies to take a hike. Four years later, the CIA installs the Shah, and the oil companies are back in. Then 40 years later, another revolution, the Ayatollah is in and the oil companies are kicked out again. He's mad because the Iranians won't let him take THEIR oil. This has nothing to do with nukes. That deal was already settled.

The USA voted this deranged old man in. Unfortunately, the Congress and the SCOTUS did not do their jobs and allowed him free rein. The system failed when those in power capitulated to this menace. It is said it is hard to put the genie back into the bottle, I hope that adage is not true. We will find out after the mid-terms. Until then, buckle up America.

Kinda wild to see the President of The United States say the American people don't want this but fuck em. Unreal times.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The world needs a global police force that can take care of situations like this.
USA ("The mightiest nation in the wuuuurrld") clearly can't.
Isn't it ironic - they have spent billions and billions on millitary, but the one thing that broke the nation's back was a smelly, stupid, evil hobo.

"I want other peoples valuables, because I'm a thief, but you lot whine about your kids, if I could I'd let your kids die, I just want the wealth, it's all I've ever cared about, getting more money," Pedogent DJT [Translated into English from Trumpian].

Trump once boasted that he cheated on the IRS and that it made him "smart". So it is not surprising to see him claim that it is "smart" to attack other countries and take their resources, because the USA are so much greater and more free than other countries. Laws don't mater to him, only his personal gain.

4 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Basically he's saying the American people would be bothered by thousands of troops dying in a full blown war in Iran. Then many more dying during years of asymmetrical attacks from militias and armed groups while trying to maintain control of population that wants them out.

But he wouldn't be.

4 days ago | Likes 116 Dislikes 0

Don't forget the attacks that would happen here on our soil. Talking about shootings and bombings.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

*will be, not would be. I do not think that there are any adults in the room that will stop him.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Maybe an unpopular opinion, and absolutely not applying to people who already joined prior to this. But if you're signing up to join the army now, to be sent over for oil and no other reason, I don't think you deserve any of the praise and accolades of a "hero". You're just agreeing to be a paid thug/murderer for an oil company. Which sure, maybe you need the money. It's a job. But I doubt it pays well, and at least you're not killing people flipping burgers... unless you doing it very poorly.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also no, I'm not implying that getting a job is easy, or that you just need to go flip some burgers. I'm saying that if you're taking the job because it's the only one available, and you need the money to live, you're not absolved of shooting innocent people or dropping bombs on schools. I would agree if you can't survive being unemployed, and the only job the wealthy are willing to pay you to do is a cheap crowd control and murder service, than that situation is a royally effed one. But, c'mon.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We should not overlook that Trump plans to spend 50% more on the military to support his invasion plans.

4 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I actually do think he plans to be locked in a bunker while declaring a state of emergency and calling off the vote by forcing people to stay home and making mail in ballots illegal.

It takes a LOT of money to pay enough enforcers on the outside. Money he knows Congress can’t get him in a shutdown.

We are in the middle of a series of dry runs … they’re rushing them out because they didn’t expect to need it for 26. They can’t hold power through 28.

Keep resisting it’s working!!!

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah yes "take the oil" cause the US has ... secret capacity to store billions upon billions of barrels of oil somehow? I never understood "take the oil" unless you plan to take over the country completely and forever?

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Take oil (fields and refineries). Stealing foreign resources, infrastructure and buildings, adding to his personal wealth. Like any fascist before him, coz that is what it (fascism) is all about

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can't take an oil field. Hence "taking over the country". You can't just... Move the oil. It's not 500 pounds of uranium (which the US also can't do), after all.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

You do not move the oil field. You take it over. Take over the operators, the infra, the buildings.
Like the US did in venezuela, iraq etc is what he meant.

Ofc it would have not really worked in Iran, but..

Trump is a symptom. Your problem is elsewhere.

4 days ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Symptoms are what kills people. It's valid to treat them so your patient lives to be cured. It's not one or the other.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Conservatives. The issues anywhere you care to look in the world can always be traced back to some conservative asshole somewhere pulling the strings.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure he's also a pretty big problem.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He is, temporarily. Next will be Vance, and then someone else. America will look like an unfortunate chain of bad events. The people must become educated so they can make educated choices.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the solution is the media. we need to buy out all the major media outlets and have them stop spewing hateful right wing talking points

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

and we need to correct social media algorithms to stop prioritizing the same

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Stop watching them. We live in the age of the internet. Information is everywhere. Watching fox news is a choice, not a predicament.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't watch them. the problem is, the ppl that do, won't. so you need to reprogram them.

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Obviously I wasn't talking about you. You are here, discussing it, you obviously don't fall in the Trump supporter category.
You can't reprogram people by changing the media. 1 because you can't, 2 because you would be changing 1 drug for another. You want them to be able to think freely, not blindly following "the other opinion". This is done through education.
Pressure the people you have to pressure, to get better, inclusive and more affordable education.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And STILL he is being allowed to get away with saying stuff like this. Utterly disgraceful to us, the rest of the world, for America to allow him to continue. Please, do something about him very very soon or all the USA will regret it.

To those folks, this is like their favorite Uncle throwing a block party; sure they don't like a lot of it, and wish the cops would stop the fighting, but they're not gonna end the party, just get more drunk and focus on the few things they like about it.

4 days ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 10

He lost the popular vote in 2016 by about 3 million votes. We did not vote for him. The Electoral College forced a loser on us. Those members of the EC do not get as much hate and criticism as they deserve. They forced Bush and Trump on the world.

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"You guys"...so nice being lumped in with the crazies. I personally very much did not vote for him. Ever. I warned everyone I possibly could before every election. I phone banked for better candidates. But I'm still lumped in with the nuts. Fantastic.

4 days ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 6

No one cares.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I dunno. I think the comment votes paint a different picture.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I get the fact that you as an individual didn't vote for him. I'd sit down and have a coffee with you or buy you a beer on account of it, if that matters. But if the democratic process is representative and fair, then the American voting public chose Trump, so I don't find it wrong at least from the language point of view to say that Americans voted for Trump, or you guys voted for Trump.

4 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Well that's because you are. We're all lumped in with "the crazies" in our own countrie, even the entire world.. Every time you vote or not vote, you're choosing to partake in society whether you like it or not. Look how much global prices change just because one strait is closed off. That's how much impact one person has. Remember 9/11? That's how we got tighter security in airports across the world! It's not just you that live in this world, we all have to deal with it.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He stole the 24 election

4 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Nope. Harris lost it, and she lost it because she preferred to court """moderate""" republicans who were never going to vote for her than appealing to the left wing.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

It really didn't seem possible for him to win leading up to the election, very much a sense of "fuckery" afoot

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well plus he went on national TV and admitted it was rigged. So did musk.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Prove it. Without proof you sound just as as dishonest AND stupid as him... an election you don't like now was 'stolen'. Bullshit. He won what counts as fair and square in the U.S.A (meaning not particularly fair, but it's how they do things, their rules, their life, their country, their responsibility).

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

I mean musk and trump both admitted they didn't need votes. There are lawsuits about the anomaly of every swing state being captured and when Rosie O'Donnell mentioned it he threatened to take her citizenship. Lying about 2020 let them screw with 2024. Everyone I knew who was a die hard trumper voted for Kamala last time, was odd and no one I know will back him anymore.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A THIRD of us voted for him. A THIRD voted against, and another THIRD couldn't be bothered to do either, for whatever reason. I'm not saying the US doesn't need to do something, but stop making us out to ALL be in cahoots with this piece of shit.

4 days ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 10

How many failed to turn out in 2022? Less than 93 million votes. How many failed to turn out in 2018? Less than 91 million votes. It's not just about the presidential election, it's about all the other elections where the senate could have been shifted and he could have been impeached. It wasn't one election that killed the US, it's multiple. And the citizens of the US, all of them, own that failure.

4 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

The citizens who voted R, and the citizens who could have voted but didn't, own it.

Tell me where blame lies with the citizens who voted D.
Tell me what else they could have done.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s first and foremost your responsibility to fix it. Noone cares that you voted whatever. If you can’t even be bothered to try, then you shouldn’t be allowed to influence anything in life

4 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

Aside from voting and protesting (which many of us are doing), what would you prefer we do? Armed rebellion? I'm not arguing that it isn't our responsibility, but get fucked with your armchair analysis.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yes, kill the fucker. Yanks like to claim it's why they have weapons, so they can actively discipline government excesses. So do it.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No. Absofuckinglutely not. I’m a 50 year old American and we all collectively own this now. Our refusal to collectively own our collective shit, with individuals running around saying “well, I’m not responsible….” when, in fact, you are partly responsible, even if it’s 1/330 millionth, is exactly how you get Trump in the first place. This is who we are now, for a couple generations at least, and everyone else is right to think that way.

4 days ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 12

Well, here you go.
Someone understands.
This is you now guys, this is what your country has become.
And nobody will do anything really...

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Bingo. That’s the whole thing. Yelling “I didn’t vote for this!!! I voted for Harris!!!!” Is farting into the wind.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

If voting isn’t enough, and protest really, really doesn’t matter, if I’ll be homeless and destitute if I participate in a strike, if I don’t have the money, time, or health for meaningful participation in much of anything, and if I live in a gerrymandered red state, red county, even specifically a MAGA neighborhood— wtf do you want me to do, go Luigi mode?

I’m not even 30 yet. I’d be lucky to make it to your age, because of a world manufactured by your parents. How is this my fucking fault?

4 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I didn’t say it’s your fault. It’s a question of responsibility. Not the same.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm an European. I'm really glad to see your answer. It gives me hope.
Also, I don't want to get on a high horse, 'cause I know we have our fair share of problems here, but if y'all ever want the world to look at you right, or be able to look at yourselves in the mirror, the only thing to do is put Trump and as many of his croneys on trial. Real, by the book, credible trials. No Nixon pardons, no kangaroo courts, no witch hunts. It's a fine line between letting it slide and authoritarianism

4 days ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Yeah. I know. The problem is that Trump is going to pardon everyone in his admin and thats a constitutional power. I understand where you’re coming from but real rights and real democracy come from real laws and real institutions. When you make exceptions (ironically since we’re talking about pardons), you are talking about fiat rule, which is authoritarian under a different name. I don’t have an answer to that specific item. Just making an observation

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then you have to accept the same amount of blame for literally every issue in the world. You using AI? Then those datacenters are 1/300 millionth your fault. You use Amazon? Suffering caused by Bezos is your fault. Driving a car? Climate change is your fault.

Crazy to have a Boomer telling the rest of the country who's fault this is. We don't all accept equal responsibility. Old people voted in Trump. Younger generations do NOT have the same amount of blame as you do.

4 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Not that any car is really gonna do a whole lot in comparison with the private jet of Name A Random Billionaire, but I don't think I've ever seen someone just...not acknowledge that their personal actions are able to contribute to a generalized issue..?

I've been on this site for legitimately less than five minutes and already I'm just gonna close it and go back to sleep.

Also, even if we're not responsible, we still gotta fix the thing. Alternative option is waiting for the Nazis to feel bad

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Gen X. But thank you. I don’t think you understood what I said. I said we own a part of it. I didn’t say we all owned the same percentage. Not sure how you got to that, but you do you I guess

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

More 18-29 people voted for trump in 2024, than did in 2020 or 2016 (39, 35, and 28 respectively). Less voted for Harris in 2024 than Biden in 2020 (58 versus 61). Those aged 30-49 (that's predominantly millennials, btw), voted evenly. Men aged 18-49 voted evenly between the two. Taken all together, the only group that heavily favoured Harris - women aged 18-29. That's it. The statistics behind the voting paint a painful picture.
