tolerance is not a moral standard, it is a social contract... and those who break the contract are no longer protected by it.

Tolerance engenders tolerance.

Intolerance engenders...

Tolerance in engineering is how much stress or force something can withstand before it fails, also applies.

They conflate tolerance with kindness and compassion and respect and civility. Mainly because they are completely devoid of those attributes and so cannot fathom the nuances.

Said nobody ever.

This comment has the energy of a child making a snide remark while the adults are talking.

What do you even mean?
Nobody has ever said nazis aren't welcome?
Or that it's intolerant to hate them?

Both things have absolutely been said. So I have no idea why you're complaining. But you decided not to go into any detail that would help prove a point.

Just "Nuh uh not true." How insightful.

The second. No one has ever said it’s intolerant to hate nazis.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

We once tried tolerance with Nazis. NEVER again.

I dunno, seems like a large percentage of the US population never stopped.

Well, except for 2016, and 2024, and looking at the American public, probably in 2028...

European here. We had it and don’t want it again.

I'm not so sure this cartoon hits the right notes. [1st Panel} I get that. I totally agree. [2nd Panel} I disagree with him. Immigrants are part of the life's blood of our country. {3rd Panel] Holy shit! He disagrees with me so I'll nuke him? Let's switch it around. 1st Panel is an Israeli. The Second Panel is an Arab. The third panel is the Israeli and, well, isn't that what we are seeing in the Middle East right now?

Well, everyone has brought out their rocket launchers. That's for sure. The irony of this is that I am in complete agreement with you all, except for one point. That a difference of opinion, no matter what it is, justifies the use of violence. It does not, No matter who the person is. The 1st Amendment specifically protects this right. Killing someone simply because they disagree with you is murder. I don't know what the artist intended to say. Perhaps his ambiguity is intentional.

Bro lay off the booze

The person in the second panel is a representation of an American Nazi white supremecist. Hence the swastika on the shirt.
Do you know what people like that believe in?

It's not a little disagreement. They will do whatever it takes to make the world a worse place for people they consider beneath them. Including putting them in camps and outright murdering them in the streets.

How can you defend nazis as if everyone doesn't know their intentions? It's disgusting.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, it isn’t. Israel is the one committing genocide.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A militarized country backed financially by most of the first world powers that is actively committing a genocide in order to seize land are not "immigrants".

Found the Nazi.

2 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

i guess that makes sense in the wild world where you rocketed the goalposts in another direction to meet whatever centrist point you're stretching for

2 months ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Had this cartoon been published on October 7th, 2023, would you still disagree with my rocketing of the goalposts?

"Huh! Interesting scenario, but let's just assume all the moving parts were completely different and look at that, the scenario looks differently!"

Pic. 1 is not an Israeli. Pic 2. is not a Palestinian, it's a Nazi. Pic 2s Nazi isn't complaining about a foreign national state setting up on his land and claiming its unique right to rule it. Pic. 3. is not about using an airforce against a population without air defences to bomb refugee camps or an army bulldozing olive trees so religious >

fantics and chauvinist nationalists of their own country can claim and settle it, slowly disowning and displacing an entire nation from their entire land, while denying to even acknowledge their existence as a people and culture by insisting on calling them by the blanket term arabs.

I you seem to need to get this explained to you, so here it is:

This comic is about how you don't have to treat bigoted and intolerant opinions as if they were valid. Because when you do that and don't push back>

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

on them being categorically invalid, they will take space and use every space they have taken to deny you your opinion. That's like why allowing a guy to run in an election on the plattform that he wants to he a totalitarian dictator and murder all who disagree with him. It seems paradoxical to the most shallow of thinkers, that not tolerating that would be in line with valuing of tolerance. It is not.

Downvotes because they know its true and they hate that.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 28

Please point out the 14 points of fascism and cite source for examples of exactly how "the left" fits into these points (like examples of political choices that match that ideology). The world's leading experts have done this to show the right very much is participating in fascist playbook to a T. I have yet to see any expert be able to do this for "the left", so I would love to have additional data points since you seem to know otherwise. Thanks.

2 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Lol you are all missing the point he's trying to make, despite this point being fairly clear. He means the US and the Nazi getting punched are the same person. And it's difficult to argue with that.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That can't be what the person I quoted is saying. It makes no sense when saying "they hate that". Why would we hate saying the us is being ran by Nazis? Because any of us paying attention are very aware. If saying the left and the right politicians are the same, they are verifiably not. No matter how much our pretend left party sucks, they are not the same. If I'm wrong then they are not being clear at all.

I'll take these down votes. If it can be hurt by the truth, it deserves to be hurt by the truth.

Oh buddy, you're not that important. It takes maybe two calories to downvote your dumb asses them another 5 to make a comment. Nobody cares about you and you will die angry and alone. Peace ✌️
