He's likely mincemeat by the end of next week at the latest, given the way things are going. It will not immediately end the war, of course, but at some point, there won't be anyone left who can actually lead this regime, resulting in infighting that could destabilize it to the point that different factions take control of parts of the country - a civil war perhaps. Israel can then pick and choose which side to support while the country as a whole, just like Syria, ceases being a threat to them.
