My name is Piper...
I am a blue and tan dapple mini Dachshund....
Everyone was afraid I was going to get eaten by a hawk....
But I got bigger....
Mainly from eating hot dogs. People made cliche' cannibalism jokes....
I finally got to drinking age....
and continued loving life....
Then I stared death in the face....
The first time I did not eat for days. After multiple vet visits and days without eating I was fixed....
I went through emergency surgery to remove a piece of toy that nobody saw during 2 xrays...
A year later I ate bug killer, spent almost a week on fluids and got a bedazzled bandage on my IV leg....
I am working on my next injury by standing like this on top of couches....
A baby was coming and everyone said I would be old news and I would be pushed to the side....
I befriended the baby....
I knew how to work the system....
Now I have a guest who always attends my birthday parties....
I don't really like the snow....
I much perfer laying on the couch....
or watching out the window...
