Traveling forward in time is theoretically possible. Traveling backward in time most likely isn't. I would entirely expect to find myself missing to begin with.
MrHappySmiles
#5 finally… someone that can stick their stickers!!
FisheswithDynamite
#37 then you start doing meeting math, like you know one is an intro slide and the one at the end says "any questions", so they can be tuned out, and how many of the slides are probably just pictures or graphs, and there's a few your boss will probably just be like "you get the idea here" and skip.

#22 Did someone drop a paperclip in your beer?
BlueSkinnedBeast
#50 in my case it’s a teaspoon
AnxiousCuttlefish
#50 shit, yeah. It's no longer shiny because I overscrubbed while cleaning it. So next to the other forks it just looks old.
kublaikhan
#37 A one-slide powerpoint where the presenter talks for 2 hours is worse.

#13 faith healing, or as I like to call it, fraud

#13 Make sure you always go to the left for fertility treatment, they got the real eggs.

#26 two broke girls is my passion.

Many of these are great templates for sun memes. Very disappointed.

#5 Dogs are great and very patient but don't let your kid do this to them.

#30 Look for a box of Premade Oats. It's the box next to the instant oats, but it's kinda wet.
raduleBreaker
#28 Whaaa ? Says who?!
LordofGoats
I was told that answer was why I didn't get the job.
GanondorfLink
Someone who doesn't work in science or academia.
MarvinTheMarsian
#1 sorry father, darn flashbacks.
JhericFury
#11 somewhat less threatening when they'd threaten me, a kid in the UK, but yeah
Smayds
#47 well it can be quite the ordeal deciding between ketchup and catsup.

Sticker doggo made my heart go squee with how sweet he was behaving despite the situation.

#12 Nooo it's so true I keep a ledger of all the ones I'd recommend to fellow horror fans to save them time. It's just like anime - there is so much discouraging dross you want to quit and then one comes along and reignites you
freshthrowaway1138
There were sunglasses in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that would grow darker the more peril you were in. I guess that's similar to being in a convo.
abananabag
Ooh, yeah! And if you can find a copy of THHGTTG videogame from the 1980s, it comes with a pair of Peril-sensitive Glasses. Unfortunately, the game itself puts you in a lot of perilous situations, so it's hard to tell if the glasses work or if they are just cardboard painted black.
folded13
I still have the Don't Panic button from my copy.
shmerdaburrdaburr
#50 I cannot abide non-matching silverware. My wife and I had the silverware from my bachelor days well into our marriage. We were only missing one salad fork that turned up during an airport security inspection in Turkey.
teardropivyyearofthetiger
Oooooooh nasty-
purgruv
Did you ask if you could put it in the hold? If not, then I frankly doubt your commitment to cutlery uniformity.
KellyCrazyCatLadyinTraining
LMAO! That must have been a hilarious TSA interaction.
JohnnyLawlessEsq
The TSA probably doesn't have too many people in Turkey.

#50 - Almost all (let's say 85+%) of the forks are very close in weight to each other. There is one that's almost three times the weight of all the others. That's the fork I hate. Eating with that thing feels like a chore. Try stacking 2 or 3 forks and eating with them to see how much it throws you off. Someone else owns it, so I can't throw it away.
abananabag
Three forks at a time sounds like something the razor companies will try to sell us once we cotton on that five blades didn't actually make things any better.
HawkmanXLII
#3 my dog once quiet barked at a bear that was right outside the tent we were in. I think she was trying to alert me without drawing the attention of the bear. She's a very smart girl.
ThatsWholesome
They're all good dogs, Bront.

My dog would rush it, wanting to play with it. It would have to REALLY mess her up to make her fear it. My old dog bit her like 5 times over the course of a year, and she NEVER learned to be afraid. It was always her fault, too. She would stick her face INTO his snarling mouth. He eventually gave up on violence because it NEVER worked and he was a lazy old boy who hated wasting effort. Heelers, man. Irrepressible.

(here's a picture of them from back when he was still around. I adore my little goblin warrior princess, but I still miss my sweet old boy)
grumblefish
My former dog was never prouder than when she made a skunk spray both of us.
Ashrieka
My dog full on sonic barks at the TV when he sees anything that resembles an animal.
Feralkyn
Yeah that's the 'soft boof' bark they use to warn you something's up when they don't feel the need--for whatever reason--to raise a full-on ruckus
QuantumBanker
Would be great if the neighbors dog did that even once
kittykat
I don't think my dog has that setting.
Feralkyn
(Mine used to do it if they *thought* they heard something but weren't sure--they'd 'boof...' while cocking their heads/staring around)
HawkmanXLII
Pretty sure she knew there was a threat, just didn't want to raise the alarm out of caution. Her head was always pointed to where the bear was. She followed it from inside the tent like hands on a clock.
Feralkyn
Yeah, that's why I'm saying "for various reasons," like if they don't want to alert whatever it is (or scare it, if it's something small, too)
LordofGoats
That's... kind of terrifying. I say this as someone who has had bears outside his tent like that. I hate it every time.
JarethCutestory
What breed of dog and may we see pics of this heroine?
HawkmanXLII
Border collie/lab. Sorry can't figure out pics right now. I'm too tired and dumb.
