At least the park is being run by the Allies.

In the UK they also do stag/bachelor parties! Best way to see Hoes before you’re married

After going to Diggerland, make sure to check out our realty company at NickKurtDale.com.

Went to one of these in the UK with the kids. Brilliant fun, but of course, when it came to time to leave there were tantrums and tears. The kids eventually calmed me down and promised me we could go back.

What is this thing with city names in the US just randomly copied from other cities in the world?

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

In the US they're called sister cities

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah they had "Dig this" in Vegas. Was a lot of fun to learn to use an excavator.

9 months ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

But holy shit that place is expensive

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Dry rides," you say?

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Always wanted to learn how to use these but I always thought I'd have to take a course and pay through the nose for it

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

All I had to do was get a job as a laborer and wait for the operator to go on break.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Missed opportunity, imo, they should have situated Diggerland on Doggerland.

9 months ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

And... you can't build this in *West Berlin* without a real German Bagger 288 ride!

9 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Have visited. :)

as a dad of 2 boys, 5 and 3, this place is their dream and nightmare all at the same time. We've only been once and yeah it's pretty cool. Which coincidentally is the same for me.

I'd trust industrial machinery a lot farther than the average carny crap kept running with 2x4s and spare Ikea parts.

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Generally speaking, stationary amusement parks are pretty safe these days. Reputations build fast. The rickety shit that gets wheeled in for summer fairs is still scary carny shit, though.

Video games and heavy duty farming equipment? I can dig it!

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

So your entire park runs on diesel?

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, what’s the entrance fee?

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Your ability to hear sound ever again.

Didn't know west Berlin was in New Jersey. I thought it was in Germany in the '50's-'80's

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

"West" Berlin was defined by where the wall was. Once that got torn down, it was unregulated, and has been spreading ever since. Currently it's in New Jersey. Eventually Alberta. Then one day, it will finally loop all the way around and get East Berlin from the other side...

Oh I am definitely going there! Are unaccompanied adults allowed or must I have a child?

9 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

You can go by yourself!

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I totally want to go.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

See this is my question about Chuck E Cheese. I want to go play games.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think they have "games" as you may remember them.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have never been to a Chuck E Cheese. I heard they had skee ball.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can absolutely go by yourself! I had to cajole my friend into going, she thought it was dumb, but we had an absolute ball! They had something where you could pay a chunk of change extra to actually destroy cars in the big machines.

9 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

OMG my wife would LOVE to crush a car!

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There are four in the UK - the nearest is still several hours drive away.

9 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Sounds like a fun day trip!

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Absolutely best day ever

As an American, my understanding of the size of your nation is that this means that you are basically at the farthest point you can possibly be from them. Unless they aren't evenly distributed and they are all at the tip of Scotland or something.
"Ye posh wankers cae hav ar tracter parks win ya pry em fra ar col ded Scottish hans" they probably say.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is this just an issue of traffic and not distance?

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Isn't your whole country only a few hours drive from everywhere else? Unless you're like, deep in Wales or Northern Scotland?

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Europeans have a VERY different idea of what constitutes "day trip" distance.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A few weeks ago I did Telford to deepest Kent, then back and next day Durham and back...1200 miles in a weekend.

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you can survive the Dartford crossing you can do anything

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah. I told a colleague from the Netherlands that my commute to my old job was 90 miles one way. He was aghast that I drove close to 200 miles in a day. He thought I was telling him kilometers. When i corrected him, he basically told me Americans are insane.
