A McDonnell-Douglas ACES II (Advanced Concept Ejection Seat) from a U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle has been found by residents in Southern Iran, the whereabouts or status of the pilot and weapons officer is currently unknown, with unconfirmed reports that one or both of the crewmembers have been captured by members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

We're getting about ten percent of what's actually happening from the vast majority of US based news orgs. The hints of what's actually happening from various social sources is pretty much making it out to be on the order of Russia's pathetic initial advance back in 2022; you don't try and hide military personnel in off-base hotels when you have actual air defenses.
