My current PSU does ~70 amps on 12V rail, and it's quite moderate. There are ones that go beyond 100 amps.

I just checked mine, it's a hundred amps on the 12v rail, my thinking went "but the powerboard trips at ten amps!". It would be safe to say my knowledge of what happens inside the magic electrical box is ...lacking
