Used to be a favorite. Hasn't watched it in years. Re watched it will higher media literacy and critique skills. Wow. So directing a movie and writing it and making yourself the star actor is..... something. Also early on is a very distasteful homophobic scene.
The film has an interesting premise. And it has a unique drug humor.
I quite like "we are spanning time" quote. But. .. it's a very arrogant pretentious film. And I really don't care for the homophobia that is very stupid.

I'm mostly tired of the "shoving it in our faces" part. I'm slowly turning to Reddit (which has its own issues) but at least there I can find stuff I enjoy (and furries etc. can too, without us bothering each other). You raise some valid points but idk quite how I should have said that differently.

Yes, exactly that. I spent too much time on finding which tags and/or users to block in order to have an "unfurried" Imgur. Anyone can have their opinion, but don't shove it to me like you want me to have it or something.

I mean, unpopular opinion but I feel the same way about all the tropes here on Imgur. Cosplaying, thigh highs, red head Monday, etc. and so on. But I also realize that I'm not going to like the same stuff everyone else does. And that's fine. So I click the button to go to the next image and don't think about the rest too hard. I don't think they are shoving it in your face TBH. That might be how you feel (valid), but it's not the reality. Furries are just cosplayers too. Maybe they're proud?
