From Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. For a very specific reaction, but feel free to find your own.

Basically - we are a doughnut... one central hole from top to bottom. All the others are dimples.

Even the nostrils... long skinny dimples I agree...

7 holes. Mouth/anus, left nostril, right nostril, and two rear ducts in each eye. Ears, eustachian tubes, urethras, pores all terminate and are not considered holes. Here is a Vsauce video to help explain.

When you redefine a hole into something that isn't a hole, sure.

I still haven't gotten around to watch this movie. Is it any fun?

People seem to hate it. I thought it was fine and a decent adventure. May even rewatch it soon just for shits n gigs.

Took me too long to realize he was asking how he knew his name, not the number of holes he had

Ah… same.

Should be 9 shouldn't it? 2 nostrils, mouth, 2 ears, 2 eyes, 1 butt, & 1 lil'antman?

I'd say a hole is something you could put something into. Eye sockets have eyes in the way, so they probably aren't counted here.

I wouldn't count eye sockets because you have the eyeballs in the way. I'd argue it's 7 for males, 8 for females.

I'm not sure ears count either. Is a innie bellybutton a hole?

Depends, how bad do you want it?

Not sure eyes count. That jelly dude has eyes and says he doesn't have holes.

He has eyes, but unlike human eyes, his are entirely contained in his body. He just stares out through his transparent skin.

The eye holes are plugged and don't allow anything to penetrate into the body without damaging or removing an eye. So, more like 7 holes with 2 potential holes?

fyi, your ears are also closed, so 5 holes with a potential for four more/

Anything can potentially be a hole.

True. And you'll get no kink-shaming from me.

Yeah, the vague definition of what constitutes a "hole" is doing a lot of work here. Ears are recessed cavities, but they don't really "go" anywhere, is that a hole?

I mean… is the butt a hole or the other end of a tube? Hole in and of itself is vague. By most people’s idea of a hole it’s usually just a big enough pit to be noticeable. So 7 would be correct even if technically not entirely accurate.

Also, pores exist.

That's both a horrible thought, probably accurate, and also I still take issues with it because eyelids move & open/close those holes. Figure we spend 30% of our time asleep, so that's 70% open with gaps between lids and eyes, yes? I'd call that a hole cause I'm an optimist, damnit!

...in retrospect, I may be spending too much time thinking about this.

I guess, what defines a hole? Can you stick a finger tip in it? If so, that probably excludes the eye holes. But that might just be a matter of will at that point.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't think I'd be able to stick a fingertip in lil' antman, either. And some people wouldn't allow a backdoor insertion. Where do we draw the line, Quade?! /s

I mean, not with *that* attitude you won't be able to.

If you dice up the human into little cubes, the human dies. What were we talking about? Ah yes holes. Is a pore a hole?
